A 15:42 minute video featuring a series of sniper attacks upon American soldiers, titled: “Baghdad Sniper,” was issued today, November 3, 2005. The subtitle: “Juba,” references the nickname given by American forces to the insurgent sniper in Baghdad. Interspersed within the clip are several alleged quotes from American soldiers and officers, military analysts, and The Guardian news publication, expressing the fear of snipers and the deadliness of their accuracy. One such quote purported to be from a “concerned person of the 164th Brigade in al-Rasmiya compound,” states: “In the time we walk on foot, we have the idea in our heads that it is a real threat to us.” In the addition, the video presents a list of casualty numbers to American forces killed by snipers for the period between Ramadan 2004 and 2005.
The group states that this film is a “gift” for Muslims on the occasion of the Fitr feast marking the end of the holy month Ramadan.

I didn't think the existence of Zaitsev was questionable. What was questionable was the existece of Major Koenig.
And Also Again, the F'head winged a couple in his promotional video.
One of his shots appeared to be a complete miss and his intended victim high tailed it out of the area. In another sequence, he scored on his first hit, paused and decided to take a second shot that appeared to miss.
Because the cameraman always knew who the target was, I'm suspicious that this Juba character is a DC sniper copycat shooting from a car trunk.
I haven't seen the video, but from what I understand the Dragunov, and presumably this Tabuk, isn't much of a sniper rifle. I believe they are only good for something like 1 MOA, so I doubt he could get away with anything further out.

I think it's wonderful that we live in a country with free speech, and I do hope the Feds are reading it, too.

This is standard sniper doctrine. Take only one shot -- every shot beyond the first exponentially increases the chances that you will be found. And move from your current position in case they did sight you, take advantage of the confusion of the moment to do so.
Actually, I've heard Peter Kokalis state that the Dragunov was a mass-produced field-issued marksman rifle, not a true sniper rifle, so is it a surprise that it's not all that accurate or long-ranged? It's a sharpshooter's personal weapon intended to give a squad some punch a little distance beyond standard rifle range.
It may have been 'intended' as a squad based system, but its employment in that role deviates regularly. (probably because the first priority of *any* sniper is another sniper, and travelling around attached to a big, noisy, squad would radically decrease the sniper's chance of survival.)
I have to revise my accuracy quote, though. According to Maj. John Plaster, the conventional wisdom gives the Dragunov, on average, 2 MOA! That's not a 'sniper' rifle by our standards which demand 1 MOA at minimum, and tend more toward 1/2 MOA as the norm.
So unless 'Juba' is employing his rifle as a 'powered' bayonet, I think this claim of shooting between armored plates is either dumb luck, or el torro pooh-pooh.
