WASHINGTON, November 7, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Homosexual activists chained themselves to a display in the foyer of the Family Research Council (FRC) headquarters in the US capitol today in an attempt to disrupt work there.
A FRC employee said that about 12 homosexual activists, some wearing "ACT UP" t-shirts - an acronym for AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power - followed a single member who gained admittance through a keyed security door by posing to be there for an interview. Once the door was opened, the dozen forced their way in, strewing condoms and fliers, chanting "condoms work, abstinence kills." The group also stuffed pamphlets into books in the main-floor FRC library.
The group then chained themselves to a display, while FRC employees waited for police to escort them away. Meanwhile, another 30-40 homosexual activists waved placards and protested outside the building. The FRC employee said the group had planned a similar demonstration for the White House for later that day.
The activist group brought a TV crew with them, as well as legal aid to ensure police arrests were carried out lawfully. In the end, the entire performance lasted two hours.
A similar effort was made by homosexual activists to disrupt a "Love Won Out" conference in Boston Wednesday, as reported by LifeSiteNews.com (http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/nov/05110204.html), where protesters gathered outside a church, chanting slogans and frightening attendees. Using PA systems, protesters shouted obscenities and yelled "Shut it down! Shut it down!" for almost 45 minutes.
"This gang of individuals who make 'tolerance' their motto have no tolerance for the law, the democratic process or anyone who disagrees with them," said Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council. "This small group of activists cannot silence those who proclaim the undeniable reality that abstinence before marriage and fidelity within marriage is the only formula for 'safe sex.'"
"They can attempt to stop our work today but they cannot stop the people of faith from involving themselves in the political process," Perkins added.
ACT UP is an activist homosexual group that maintains that condoms are the only effective way to curb HIV/AIDS, despite mounting evidence suggesting that condoms in fact promote the spread of the disease.
Did they go thru the back door?...
ping
I would think that the coordinated actions of these "hate" groups could be prosecuted under RICO statutes.

Thanks for the post.
What's the best way to promote unwanted pregnancies and STDs? Teach Abstinence! So far, so good.
When they do have sex, you bet they won't be using contraception!Ooops. "You bet" isn't persuasive. And if two virgins have unsafe sex, the chance of them giving each other something deadly is remote. To state otherwise is about as big a jump as declaring that because there is beauty in the world, there must be a god.
This reminds of how the Brown Shirts (aka Sturmabteilung or SA) behaved..and they were flaming homosexuals. They were the ones who were used to make KristallNacht happen. Hitler (a homosexual) later had them executed by the SS during an SA homo orgy known as The Night Of The Long Knives.
WOW...me too....my wife has been slowly eliminating me day after day without me even knowing it!
how would abstinence kill?
This would have been a golden opportunity for my german shepherds to get in a little work.I can promise the gays would have gone out the door a lot faster than they came in!
Get out the disinfectant!
Don't beat around the bush. If you hate gays, just say so.
The flaming faggielips once again show their tolerance for opposing views.
Hell's full of such!
Yes I do. Now have me killed.
If you want on/off the ping list let me and little jeremiah know.
Do you have a link to the source for that?
Sex Positive advocacy is nothing new but it has been making serious inroads. And with the advancements made by the homosexual agenda, it will only make greater strides unless we start winning the culture war.
Sorry, but no!
Your USA tax dollars at work
