France and most of the rest of the world seem to be caught off-guard by the spontaneous rioting that began 11 days ago in and around Paris.
But the country's leading anti-terror expert, Judge Jean-Louis Brugiere, saw it coming and warned about the threat more than one month ago.

PING !
John.
Here is another article supporting Islamist/Jihadist Connections to the French Riots. My prayers are that people like Sarkozy will be given enough lattitude to deal with these riots. Otherwise, France and much of the Western Europe could go up in smoke.
PING--French Riots and Islamist fingerprints are all over them !
I suspect most Americans with I.Q.'s above forty saw this coming, most of us just didn't expect it to start so soon. The only thing likely to end it is American intervention and, after the gross ingratitude they have shown for having their butts saved by us in the past, I hope nobody else is in a hurry to get started. I'm not.
a bit of humour left in France.

Misleading. He was talking about attacks like those in London, not this kind of Watts-type rioting.
If you read the article, it sounds more like this guy was predicting a one-time terror attack.
I think this thing will just go through periodic flare-ups while the French slowly give up their sovereignty in exchange for a temporary peace.
I agree Rose, that IslamoNazis ultimate goal is the worldwide Islamic State with its cannibal law. Nevertheless, I choose to remain an optimist and see if people like French Interior Minister Sarkozy will take a lead in putting down these riots. Whatever our views on French leadership, nobody really wants France and possibly the rest of W. Europe to go up in flames and turned into Islamic hellholes. Although its ultimately up to French and other European people to control their own country, I don't want what was once the vibrant part of Western Civilization to become another fallen Roman Empire.
Interesting. One thing about the moslems, they have a legal system of their own, and they will use it if their country does not allow them into the system of capital. In this way the moslems have a strength similar to what the communists had. Had, not have--communism is dead. This moslem activism comes from the same root as communism, and maybe, being religious in type, it is stronger than communism. Their country should let them participate in capitalism, and so, this could have been easily foreseen and avoided.
Gun show coming up in a couple of weeks.
Time to get some more ammo packed on those metal sardine cans for long storage.
Stock up now, avoid the rush.
Ammo makes a great Christmas present too.
"The converts are undeniably the toughest," Brugiere said. "Conversions today are faster and the commitment is more radical. The young recruits are often sent speedily to theatres of operation like Iraq."
Not only does France turn its nose up at the US (who saved their butts during WWII), they harbor and embrace Muslim fundamentalists. Merci Monsieur le President Chirac! (/sarcasm)
Lest we forget the true heroes!
