German N-TV showing video of burned-out autos and calls it a copy-cat action.

Berlin arsons were in Moabit which is near Tiergarten (old West Berlin). Small part of Berlin. I have no idea if there are many foreigners there.
Is there rioting? Or just an isolated case?
Haven't seen anything like rioting. Muslims in germ,any are way better off than they are in France. You know how it is though. It just takes a few trouble-makers to get everyone else started.
The breaking point will be when muslims start complaining about the pork in German sausage. Nobody, and I mean nobody but a muslim would be dumb enough to stand between a german and his sausage.

Only in the daytime you can see a few Germans there, but they don't live there: They work in one of those new technology parks that have been built right in the middle of that hellhole. I am one of these, actually, so I drive or walk through Moabit every day. The ministry of the interior is just around the corner; when I heard of the torched cars last night, my first thought was how sad it was that Otto Schily is leaving that ministry in Moabit now. Rioting Muslims would have been his responsibility, and while I normally can't stand SPD politicians, Schily is a guy who certainly would have known how to deal with them properly.
Ah, what the heck. I bet it was just a handful of Turkish rap fans who had a bit too much of that beer they bought from their welfare money that I have to pay so much taxes for.
LOL - of course thats was in "bad taste" - but I can certainly picture that scene . . .

Wow, it's those sorts of pithy but creepy responses I wish I could come up with on the spur of the moment. But then, I suppose she has seen a lot in her lifetime.
My goodness, I never thought things happen in Berlin of all places. I always thought many Turkish tend to be more peaceful and more assimilated into German life than the North Africans in France. How about other cities in Germany like Hamburg or Frankfurt - any signs that similar things happen?
To be honest an arrest has to be made soon because "tolerating" them will make things worse.

That is true. There are more politzei than I've ever seen out and about these days. We live in a very large muslim community in southern Germany. They (politzei) are everywhere, I guess...trying to make sure that any ideas for disruption of society stay just that...ideas.
