W's fault.
I feel left out....the cheapest between Palm Desert and Indio (my area in So. California) is $2.79
Prices are around a dime less than those averages, here in Atlanta. Prices really spiked here, due to Katrina.
$2.05 in NE Ohio yesterday.
Here in the College Station area, gas got as high as $2.97 but now it has dropped to as low as $2.28.
Will we ever see it drop below $2.00?
Haven't dropped jack up here in Fairbanks. Still near $2.80. I'm starting to get PO'd.
This can't be. As we all know, pursuant to the Big Oil/Halliburton/Cheney/evil neo-con conspiracy, gasoline prices can only go up.
Am I supposed to be dancing in the street? There's another dollar per gallon to go before I'll get worked up.
It got down to $2.09 here.
Now back up to $2.15.
If it goes back up, there isn't a good reason for it except price gouging.
Going through central Illinois the other day I paid $2.17/gallon.
Still about $2.40 in the Chicago area.

GREAT site!
Sure hope those moronic EPA gasoline rules stay suspended. The ones where our nation's refiners have to make 33 different types of gasoline for the environmentalist wackos
Octane 87 is $ 2.53 a gallon in Eureka Ca. Down from $3.45...
Erie, PA it's $2.08/gal. Drive 10-15 miles to the NY border, and it's $2.54/gal.
Yeah...but what's the cost of brillo in Camarillo? I'll channel Frank Z and find out.

The day I start worrying about gas prices, is the day I start walking... That being said, Joe/Jane 6-pack vote minute econ. issues, and the price of gas is a glaring example to them.
And we found out from the profit sheets that it was all for nothing except to make a buck. I'm all for free market, but it doesn't make me hate big oil greed any less. And I'm entitled to that, free market and all.
Gas prices in Colrado are down almost $.80 in about 3 weeks. I paid about $3.33 for premium 3 weeks ago and when I went doen the hill today I saw $2.53-2.58.
Diesel is down about $.50 in the last week or so.
