As much as the French are known for their lack of cojones, I think this will be a different situation. This Islamic insanity is happening INSIDE France and the French are known to grow a pair in this situation.

At least let's hope so.

"If the terrorists take France, can we just let them have it? There won't be much change in policies. They'll still be extremely anti-Israel. They'll still give funding to the Palestinians, helping them in their effort to destroy Israel. They'll still support the EU and the loss of France's own sovereignty. They'll still advocate more moslems moving into the nation. Why nothing would change. No big deal."

Well put

This is such a joke. During the Townships war in South Africa they also routinely torched busses and schools and necklaced people (under the orders of Mandela et al). The infantry usually took from dawn to teatime (4 hours) to get the place under control. Of course the Frenchies were screaming at us about being racists and warmongers and all the usual liberal blather.

These vandals need to get a taste of the old 32 Battalion or Internal Stability Division.

I read the Frenchies now even have a national security cabinet, just like the Nats had in the old South Africa. It's all so familiar. I never imagined this would happen in France of all places. What a hoot.

Warning the rioters that they will be beaten with baguettes would probably have more effect.

Reminds me of the "video pirates" scene (Amazon Women on the Moon) where they see the FBI warning against making copies:

"I'm soooo scared!"

Chirac is useless, as even he doesn't take his own words of warning seriously.

Almost 9 years ago (Jan, 1998), when vehicles were being burned by mooligans, Chirac said, "There is too much violence in our country, too much insecurity - in the schools, on public transport. Every day new limits are broken beyond which our society will disintegrate."

Vehicle burning by mooligans on January 1st is an annual event in Neuhof, near Strasbourg, France. Here's another news quote from 1998

Car burning in particular seems to have become a popular form of expression. In the Strasbourg area, some 500 cars were torched in 1997, up from 400 the previous year. Other cities were not so hard-hit but have had increases.

"Burning cars has become a kind of ritual," said scholar Farhad Khosrokhavar, who studies young Muslims in the suburbs. "Through this violence, [young people] feel involved in society. They feel like stars.

"PARIS (AFP) – the 10th consecutive night of urban violences ignited in the ghettos close to Paris and in surrounding areas, with a hundred cases of vehicle arson and ten shootings by 22H00. "

WOW!

Such good timing for Airbust to finally be conducting test flights for their Super Sized aircraft....
It will be needed to evacuate the surrendering French...

Ah, but -- who in the world would ACCEPT the ever ungrateful, treacherous and cowardly French?

" wonder if something like this happened here would all of those "peace" people change their minds?"

“This is war; eto fore they don’t understand this reality. This people give warning of jail; this is absolutely ridicules. Per uno is their way just appease; appease; and appease: now is fruit of that appease. I believe there are two types of people in today world; fore one type understands eto two doesn’t understand. Problem is two is in power in other nations.”
