Tenth night sees no end to French riots (Will the fifth republic fall as Muslims hijack Europe?)

PARIS (Reuters) - Gangs of youths torched more than 1,000 vehicles overnight in the tenth straight night of violence in Paris's poor suburbs, despite the deployment of thousands of extra police.

In the past few days the rioting has been spreading to other French towns. On Saturday night, cars were burned out for the first time in central Paris, in the historic third district. And in the normally quiet Normandy town of Evreux, a shopping mall, 50 vehicles, a post office and two schools were gutted.

The violence began after the deaths of two men apparently fleeing police, and as the expression of pent up anger by young men, many Muslims of North and black African origin, at police treatment, racism, unemployment and their marginal place in French society.

Authorities have increasingly blamed the rolling nightly riots on organized crime gangs. But despite consultations with community leaders, young people and local officials, Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin has failed to offer a clear path out of the crisis.

How long before this is blamed on Bush and FEMA?

Give them some time. This is a toughie for them to maneuver. I suspect they'll start reporting the riots in Argentina with Bush's face plastered all over it....then quietly sneak in "Oh, by the way, look what's happening in Paris". Only then will the MSM place it as a headline.

"On the same day the teenagers died, police in nearby Epinay arrested three men who allegedly beat a visiting photographer to death. The man worked for a lighting company and had stopped his car at a housing project to take pictures of light fixtures when he was assaulted in front of his family, police said."

It took a thousand police to arrest 193 rioters? I bet the NYPD would have no problem arresting and processing at least 993 with a thousand officers on the street, just ask the DUmmies visiting here for the GOP convention.

From No Pasaran blog(5:24AM);

“The night's activity: 1295 vehicles torched, 312 arrests, and Paris hit for the first time since the riots started. In Evreux, rampaging youths armed with baseball bats directly confronted riot police.

Violent confrontations between riot police and hooded youths took place in Evreux where the shopping center 'du quartier de La Madeleine' was hit by extensive damage. There were injuries on both sides but police authorities were unable to supply any numbers (or unwilling to). A McDonalds in Corbeil-Essonnes was demolished. 2 people suffered smoke inhalation when hundreds were evacuated from a building in Athis-Mons. In the Mureaux, 30 rioters on a roof, under the spotlights of a helicopter, threw objects at riot police.

Gunfire and cars torched in the City of Light; Chiraq silent

4 cars were torched in the rue Dupuis, near Place de la République, in a neighborhood were street lighting has been out of order for several days. Towards 9PM the rue Béranger (near the rue Dupuis) was closed off after residents reported gunfire from the rooftops. Once police left the area youths were seen torching vehicles causing an explosion which spread fire to the stairway of a building. Sunday morning, the police have issued a warning to neighborhood merchants to be careful (ie. you are on your own, people!).

Still no word from President of Ripoublika Franska, Jack Chiraq.

Françaises, Français, vous êtes dans la merde jusqu'au cou, Françaises, Français, démerdez-vous!”

God d@mn the French.

It was France who harbored the fanatical Ayatollah and allowed his return to Iran, which led to their perverted "Islamic Republic", and then to the 444 days of Infamy tolerated by the pissant Jimmy Carter.

Much of which leads us to the debacles we have today. French complicity, French and Carter cowardice and an emboldened muslim horde.

The French have a solution that is very capable of dealing with rioting Muslims. It is the French Foreign Legion.

"My kids can't sleep at night," said a mother named Samia in Aulnay-sous-Bois. "They hear explosions, they see fires and they think they're in a war.

The kids in France seem to be ahead of the political leadership. They're at war against radical islam.

On the bright side, this means Turkey doesn't get into the EU.

You'd think...but with their history, I wouldn't be surprised if this sped up their entrance.

The thing that get me is why they are not cracking down. Here in TX if this was happening the national guard would be out in force. Once order is estored then you talk to them about the causes, but not before

Forget about the National Guard. What would "you" do if this was happening outisde your house in the burbs? I have a great second-story window with optimal view of the street. It would make a wonderful watch tower. I'd be damned if I'd let these bastards destory my community while the government sat on its feet. At some point, it's time for men to grow pair and fight for their freedom and property.

Now is the time to kick them off the security council of the UN, before sending the UN to Zimbabwe.

What is the problem?
I have been a long time advocate of a new UN HQ in Harare, Zim.
Why, a large plat was just recently bulldozed and could be had cheap! (near downtown)
Just think how happy the delegates would be, being out of big bad America and so close to their tribal lands!
Pls reconsider

Also the old UN building could become something NYC truly needs, INDOOR PARKING.

> If poverty were a cause, would not one expect to see widespread looting?

Good point. However, I think (with the exception of last night's foray into central Paris) the "youths" are nuking their own neighborhoods.

I believe there were no reports. Look at what the MSN doesn't report in this country in order to shape the news.

Looks like the story is gonna break out of its cage today. Heard on local ABC TV that 1,000 cars burned last night and that most of the vandals were 'Muslims from north Africa'. This must mean that some very bad things happened in France last night.
