LIBYAN leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi called French President Jacques Chirac overnight to express his concern about rioting in Paris suburbs and other parts of France.
The Libyan national news agency reported that Mr Chirac thanked Colonel Gaddafi for his interest and reassured him that the situation was under control. Colonel Gaddafi was reported saying Libya was "disposed to help France overcome these events," which he described as "regrettable."
The report did not outline what kind of aid might have been forthcoming.
French authorities have stepped up police action against youths responsible for more than a week of urban riots, in which hundreds of vehicles were set alight, as suspicions grew that gangs were becoming increasingly organised.

I wonder what possible tactic that Gaddafi would consider that the French would be unable to utilize.

Guess this is the desert moonbat's way of thanking the French for their refusal to let us overfly La Belle France on the way to bomb his tents in 1986.

Crazy like a fox.
Gaddafi can accept all of the expelled Muslims. He'd probably be sympathetic to their identity, but won't take any crap from them either.
Perhaps now the public won't be so unkind to Spain Inquisition history considering what Spaniards had to endure under their own occupation.

Maybe he's thinking he can blow up another civilian airliner and thus take the Paris riots off the front pages.

There is no need for Krazy Kadafi. The police in the rioting cities of Frogland should use the following critters to restore piece. Train them to smell, track down and eat Jihadists.

Has Chirac even been involved in this situation?

Perhaps at least a stern voice, warnings, bullets, troops....Sonmething other than a peace march asking the riots to stop.

Perhaps at least a stern voice, warnings, bullets, troops....Sonmething other than a peace march asking the riots to stop. The only pictures I've seen of French police for the last few days showed them standing still or moving backwards. Maybe France will chose to appease the rioters by giving them what they want...an Islamic state within France (from which to take over the rest of France...shhh...don't let the French know that's the rioter's plan)

Ooh, maybe they'll meet and the press will get a photo of Chiraq kissing Gaddafi. The French way.

Chirac..The situation _was_ under control.
Of course, Mon Colonel, it is not any more, but I am an idiot, so there is not much I can do about it, but thanks for the kind offer. :-)

Khadaffi burned his own country's land records. He is the last person to consult on how to clean up third-worldism. If Khadaffi has a solution other than islamo-communism or maoism, he should present the plan with attached fiscal note so the French may upgrade the land office.

He would be named Caliph of Paris. The Follies Bregere(sic) would be his appointed harem and the French vinyards would be plowed under so that more cattle could be bred and more cheese would be made!

Has Chirac even been involved in this situation? I don't think so. IF he has, then he shouldn't admit it, because it would just show how ineffective it is.
