Did 'revoked' living willkill communicative man?

Family members are investigating what they consider to be suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a nursing home patient at the center of a life and death tug-of-war reminiscent of the Terri Schiavo tragedy.

Seventy-nine-year-old Jimmy Chambers died in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 after the tracheotomy tubes that deliver oxygen from a ventilator to a hole in his neck became unhooked. Family members were told Chambers, a resident of the Anne Maria Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in North Augusta, S.C., apparently pulled the interlocking tubes apart.

"We're having it investigated. We're just incredulous," Chambers' daughter, Deanna Potter, told WND in reference to her siblings. "The last time I saw dad he was blowing me a kiss. I blew him one and he blew one back."

The retired dispatcher for Holland Motor Express died approximately 10 hours later. His death certificate indicates he died of "natural causes."

"Apparently, suffocation is a 'natural cause' when you're on a ventilator. We're contesting that," said Potter. "He suffocated. He didn't just pass away. He struggled and fought. And I'm just so angry."

Potter estimates it would have taken 10 to 14 minutes for her father, deprived of oxygen, to fall unconscious, and questions why the nursing home staff didn't come to his aid.

"The oxygen-saturation meter and his ventilator both would have had alarms going off. Four-thirty, five o'clock in the morning you'd think someone would hear this," she added. "That's the thing that really bothers me and makes me suspicious."

More from TerriPac:

TerriPAC will request donations through its Internet site (www.TerriPAC.org) from the majority of Americans who were horrified by the political intrusion in Michael’s personal family tragedy.

TerriPAC.org will also encourage citizens to obtain advance medical directives (living wills) and allow voters to learn how their own members of Congress voted and their public comments on this issue

Deuteronomy 32:35 'Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them.'

If we seek vengeance, we become like them. We can seek justice through the system that is in place, but it certainly doesn't guarantee justice or anything that looks like it. The only place we will ever find justice is in the presence of the Almighty God..... and His command is this: Forgive those who trespass against us.

That's what my aunt has been trying to tell me, regarding a problem in my personal life. It is very difficult when it's personal, but as for the likes of Michael Shiavo and company, God will decide. There is also the possibility that they will repent, and He will forgive them. Stranger things have happened.

That's pretty ugly. Why don't they leave the feeding tube, and disconnect the respirator? If she cannot function on her own, then that's that. Poor kid : (

I'm hoping Mary's link to MS's latest display of narcissism is better. I had problems with the Salon link.

This should have had a "barf alert". IIIII,mememememe, mymymymymy. It's all about MS. Sooo, who is going to actually benefit from the donations? Will MS actually be held accountable for where the money goes?

More garbage from Michael Schiavo's website:

Statement from Michael: "We need to elect leaders with true, traditional American values and some backbone to stand up for them – who respect the sanctity of marriage and put our fundamental right to privacy before political opportunism." [Note: keep in mind that Schiavo had been living with another woman and fathered two children while Terri was lying in a bed in hospice.]

"At the TerriPAC Election Center, you will see your donations being put to work to pay for television and radio ads, direct mail or personal appearances by Michael Schiavo in the states and districts of political leaders who chose their own political gain over personal privacy and the rule of law."

I can personnally attest that vengence belongs to the Lord.
He takes care of things in His time and in His way while we live continue to be aware of living His will in our lives.

And yet, the MoveOn Freepers keep insisting we should forget about "poor Terri" and stop "using" her memory to save others.

That's the hardest part; living His will in our lives. Some days, I just want to go shopping at Big Five sporting goods.

"Personal appearances by Michael Schiavo". That about sums it up. Looks like he's still trying to milk his murdered wife for money.

Okay, refresh my memory people. Aren't PAC's obliged to provide financial information to the public? This would be a great way to launder money. How would one trace anonymous donations????

“Those politicians lost a basic respect for marriage, family and personal privacy,” Schiavo said.

I caught this statement on the front page as well.

How Michael Schiavo can ever think that he has respect for marriage is beyond me. What a horse's @$$!

Former sheriff of Pinellas County, Everett Rice, is running for Charles Crist's job, Florida Attorney General. While Rice was sheriff, he provided Michael Schiavo with a job as a nurse at the Pinellas County Jail (Women's Division). Rice also helped Judge Greer arm Woodside Hospice (during the time Terri was slowly starving to death) with undercover deputies, a SWAT team, K-9 units, surveillance equipment, and paddy wagons.

Read the report at the North Country Gazette Everett Rice Lagging In 2006 AG Race

P.S., Rice listed his membership with Hospice on his website www.everettrice.com

Sheriff Rice certainly did help arm the camp known as Woodside. Having automatic weapons pointed at me isn't my idea of The American Way.

I have OTHER NEWS RE: Mikey's new PAC. WFLA reports that one of Michael Schiavo's FIRST GOALS is to RETALIATE against TOM DELAY.

I hope the freepers who have been on the other side of the fence re: Terri will just accept that he was no normal husband and apparently, fulfilling Terri's SO CALLED, wishes was not enough for him.

He's on self destruct but on the way, he wants to destroy others with his PAC. Tom Delay was correct when he said that Judge Whittemore and Judge Greer should be investigated. That was Delay's free speech. Michael must have some heavy backing to go after Delay in Texas. I smell George Soros on this one.

Now I'm starting to think HINO's web site company may be in California and that was what he had up his sleeve that I was posting about yesterday or the day before. Maybe HINO has moles in his camp.

I'm up listening to the rain. I caught the last half of the John Paul movie on cbs with Jon Voight. It was pretty good.

Found this lovely tidbit from Michael's PAC:

Michael Schiavo, whose 15 year struggle to grant his wife’s end-of-life wishes triggered unprecedented government intrusion and political grandstanding by political leaders from the Florida Legislature to President George W. Bush, today announced he has formed TerriPAC - a national political committee.

How's that for a load of BS?

We know Mikey is on Soros' bankroll, just like that other kook, Cindy Sheehan. I don't doubt it for a NY second!
