French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy said Thursday that the riots in several Paris suburbs over the previous night were "not spontaneous" but rather "well organized."
"What we saw in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis overnight was not spontaneous, it was perfectly organized. We are looking into by whom and how," Sarkozy told French news channel i-tele.
The interior minister also said the government would not allow "troublemakers, a bunch of hoodlums, think they can do whatever they want" in the country.
A force of 1,000 police were assigned late Thursday to Seine-Saint-Denis, following the previous night of violence which affected about half of the 40 towns in the department, mostly communities of immigrants from Africa, officials said.
I think that's what the French MSM are telling the French. And more and more French are saying Non!
I don't believe it.
I like the "shots" you took at the Everglades!
I never use gloves in the kitchen ~ yes susie, don't rub your eyes and other tender parts when handling hot peppers. ;)
A little liquid detergent works pretty good in removing the hot stuff. ;)

Yeah, I learned that. I really thought I had washed my hands sufficiently, but I ended up sleeping with a bucket of icewater that night! A friend made jelly with me that day (the peppers were from her garden). Her husband suffered as well, but I won't go into detail.

Thanks. The link is interesting.
I said this almost a month ago:
France could change its entire perception in the world community if it was the country that eventually ended up bombing Iran. For the first time in a long time, they would be putting military might behind its diplomacy.
It couldn't have been foreseen that they would now be facing armed insurrection, and apparently there is very active trade with Eastern Europe for weapons like rocket launchers and AK-47s, but if France finally goes postal on the 5 million Muslims in their 'cites' around Paris, then seeing France bomb Iran is a definite possibility.
Here's a certainty: Chirac is done, and the Bush bashing from France is now done too. Same with Germany. Not a peep from Europe during the 2006 cycle.
semi-joking. The French Foreign Legion has been around since 1835. They are used for the dirty work that the regular French Army won't do. Google Algeria, Dien Bien Phu, Camerone.
Bingo. If the violence is organized it has to be an insurrection. The French governemnt should treat it as such.
