In addition to Franken, many others come under scrutiny including Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Ralph Nader. I hope he didn't forget Rob "Meathead" Reiner.

I heard part of an interview that Bill O'Reilly had with Schweizer yesterday in which Schweizer said that the Kennedys paid only around 100K dollars a year in taxes on a HALF A BILLION DOLLAR TRUST FUND that was overseas which old man Joe Kennedy made bootlegging booze out of Canada during prohibition. Streisand pays a 22K dollar a month water bill??? And George Soros' money is hidden in offshore bank accounts...
and these clowns have the unmitigated nerve to say I don't pay enough in taxes!!!! Give me a friggin' break!

This is a pretty silly article. Franken is presumed furious until he replies otherwise? He hasn't even commented on the book, as far as I know. I googled around trying to see if he really did have any reaction to the book and all I found is he's on "The Tonight Show" tonight.
Newsflash: Al Franken furious about this post.
Maybe.

that would be Butch "oh what a hypocrite I am" O'Donnell who had her kid escorted by an armed guard because she was famous..she's also the same one that came out for allowing bums the right to sleep on streets because they had nowhere else to go, but had a bum (actually a reporter dressed as one) removed from in front of her house because it didn't look good in the neighborhood..I don't remember the reporters name..

I saw the author in an interview the other night.
Al Franken was quietly sueing the author to stop it's distribution. Franken claims the chapter about him was mean. He didn't question the truth of the authors facts at all but questioned how he got his facts.
Franken has reacted by use of lawyers.

I saw the interview on BO last night. Apparently, Franken's attny contacted this guy's publisher (or editor?) and said the content was "legally actionable". Apparently, there was no attempt to refute the statement, but rather the method of obtaining the information.
