Fellow Patriots, The Democrat-dominated Sacramento City Council has crossed the line. At a time when we have men and women of the U.S. military fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the Sacramento City Council has issued a resolution condemning the war against terrorism in Iraq. Since the Sacramento City Council is paid by the taxpayers, works for the taxpayers, and is supposed to represent the taxpayers, it's time that WE THE TAXPAYERS let them know what we think.

How do we do this? The email continues…

1) Call the Sacramento City Council and register your complaint:

Since we are recording our new pro-troop radio ads for the holiday season this week, why not debut the ads in Sacramento first. And we'll record a spot that directly responds to the City Council's actions!

We'll make sure those shameless politicians in Sacramento get the message that they DO NOT speak for us and we'll demand they RESCIND their anti-troop resolution.Here's where I need your help.

I promised you that the money we've received for radio ads thus far would be spent in the communities it comes from. I tried to be nice also- and presented them with some simple facts.

There are 200,000 Iraqi troops trained
There are 150,000 US troops there

Estimated need for security is 400,000

Iraq is halfway there. We can begin reducing troop levels soon, if the civilians and non-military government employees will just shut up, work the jobs they are paid to do, and leave national security.

I wouldn't trust one of these council members to put up a fence in my garden.

As the Mother of an Airman (that is a United States Air Force VOULENTEER for the ignorant) I will make sure this is known to all the local branches of the Armed Forces.


Personally I find your actions on this resolution disgusting, as do many.


Considering many branches of our Armed Forces spend a great deal on money in your town, I’m certain they will be interested to see how you and your council members
feel about our men that are fighting to save your very cowardly lives.

I do have one question, if we are invaded whose grandmother or child will you use to shield yourself?

I'm not always quite as eloquent when I'm mad and boy did it hit a nerve when I read what Sacramento was doing.

With all the military there I personally know that a great deal of money is being spent in that town because of our brave young men and women.

KOVR13 Sacramento (CBS affiliate) reported on the 10 pm news broadcast that council members have received 200 email messages including a lot of hate mail and threats.

The threatening messages have been turned over to Sacramento Police and some may be sent to the FBI.

Keep your messages civil with no threats. Threats via email can carry a 5 year prison sentence.

Even though I was upset- my email took a sarcastic tone at worst. I asked them.,... So you think you know so much about Iraq? Answer this...
1) How many troops are needed to secure Iraq
2) How many Iraqi troops are there?
3) How many US troops are there?
4) Are the Iraqi troops currently completing succesful operations?
5) What is the logical conclusion?

Then I gave them the answers....
1) 450,000
2) 200,000
3)160,000
4) Yes.
5) Our military can start coming home soon- nearly half of the needed Iraqi troops are already trained. Also, the politicians in Sacramento should just do the job they are being paid to do, and keep their noses out of the military!

PS they have yet to respond.
