THE CALL TO DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME (folks, CIVIL WAR II has begun)
why the world can't wait dot net ^ | 11-2005 | really nutty dangerous subversives

The Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime

 Sign the call now!

Your government, on the basis of outrageous lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with other countries in their sights.

Your government is openly torturing people, and justifying it.

Your government puts people in jail on the merest suspicion, refusing them lawyers, and either holding them indefinitely or deporting them in the dead of night.

Your government is moving each day closer to a theocracy, where a narrow and hateful brand of Christian fundamentalism will rule.

Your government suppresses the science that doesn't fit its religious, political and economic agenda, forcing present and future generations to pay a terrible price.

Your government is moving to deny women here, and all over the world, the right to birth control and abortion.

Your government enforces a culture of greed, bigotry, intolerance and ignorance.

People look at all this and think of Hitler — and they are right to do so. The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come. We must act now; the future is in the balance.

Democrats coddling racists — again

California’s answer to Jackson and Sharpton is Larry “Nativo” Lopez. Lopez was formerly head of something called Hermanidad Mexicana Nacional (HMN) and is now president of the California Mexican American Political Association (MAPA). He evidently deemed his given first name, Larry, inappropriate for a professional Hispanic huckster, so it morphed into “Nativo.”

Hermanidad, under Lopez’ direction, was the focus of a lengthy investigation for improper voter registration activities, City News Service reported in 1996. That same year, the INS terminated a contract for citizenship services with an HMN-affiliate, Naturalization Assistance Service, because of problems at its testing centers in Texas and Florida. A couple of years later HMN was investigated for possible misappropriation of federal funds.......[snip]

Constitutional militia required by 2nd Amendment

In an attempt to shut down the Minuteman Project and demonize them, seditionist groups like La Raza and Hermanidad Mexicana Nacional started slinging the same worn out standard that anyone opposed to illegals smuggling themselves across the border is a racist.

[snip]

Do as I Say (Not as I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy
RSVP | |
Date: November 3, 2005
Time: 12:00 noon
Speaker(s): Peter Schweizer
Author
Host(s): John Edward Hilboldt
Director, Lectures and Seminars,
The Heritage Foundation
Details:
Location: The Heritage Foundation's Lehrman Auditorium

In the eyes of Peter Schweizer, Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, the American Left prides itself on a selfless commitment to economic and social justice. With moral certitude, confident of the purity of their motives and the evil nature of their opponents, they support a familiar litany of causes and programs – progressive taxes, affirmative action, greater regulation of corporations, increasing the inheritance tax, stricter environmental safeguards, consumer rights, and more. But do liberals actually practice what they preach?

After digging deep into tax returns, real estate documents, business and investment patterns, court depositions, and hiring practices, Schweizer argues that even the most outspoken liberals jettison their progressive ideas and adopt conservative principles when it comes to what matters most in their lives – the protection of their property, privacy and families. All are adept at avoiding taxes, invest in the very industries they denounce, and abandon environmental causes when they impinge on their own property rights. While they cry racism and support affirmative action, many have abysmal records when it comes to hiring minorities. They condemn abstinence-based sex education programs, but enroll their own children in such studies. In short, according to Schweizer, liberalism forces its adherents to become hypocrites. His conclusion is strikingly simple and highly persuasive – liberal principles that don’t work for individuals have no place in shaping national programs and policies.
