On the sixth night of revolting in Paris, violence spread from the initial flashpoint of Clichy-sous-Bois into a host of other areas in the north and east of the city.
Scores of vehicles were burned by angry youths, most from disaffected north African communities.

There was Frenchman (or woman) on Free Republic a few months back who argued that there was no Moslem threat to France, since they were on such better terms with them than we are in the US!

Can't they all just get a long. BTW, the French police do not have means, training or intent to step in to stop it. The intervention, they fear, would escalate the situation.
Sounds strikingly similiar to the logic in that country in the early 1940s.
