What do you expect from the euroweenies (lower care "e")?
They are destined to be Islamic slaves.

But realistically, how often are eu documents going to refer to Christ? Potentially quite often, if you can get past the oft-included prefix "anti"...

Guten Tag GC!
Wie geht es Ihnen?
What was the message on the back of the belt buckle of the SS? Wasn't it, "God is with us"? Is it possible that the Germans are angry with God because they think He abandoned them?

Hallo Suzy!
Mir gehts gut! Und selbst?
That certainly coulb be, except they don't talk about such. maybe the older generation remembers that.
BTW, we watched Luther in German the other night. It was quite awesome to hear it in German.
"Hier steh ich. Ich kann nicht mehr. Gott helfe mir."

This sounds to me like the first step towards the eventual criminalization of the practice of Christianity in Europe. The new death camps probably aren't too far away.

Well, I thought it was just Holland, but the entire EU? Wow, I'm a little surprised. How will Italy and Vatican City find that new rule? I'm guessing 'Mohammed' is still capitalized. What next from our Euroweenie leadership?
To: FreedomCalls
I'm speechless. It's bull. The rule has nothing to do with the EU. It's a Dutch rule. It's still stupid, but then so are WorldNet Daily for publishing idiotic internet rumors.

I'm doing great. Thanks for asking.
they don't talk about such
Maybe this is why - before I went to Germany to visit relatives, I was instructed by my mother-in-law to not converse about religion or politics and by no means ask personal questions. She said "it is not proper."

Long time no talk, SJ! How have you been?

Believe me, it was hard enough to have a conversation in another language, but more difficult to stick to "How's your garden this year?" when I had so many questions.
I have been busy but things have slowed down so I hope there are interesting things to amuse me on FR during the rainy season. I prefer to talk about religion & politics, and I often ask personal questions, so this is the right place, huh?

Not to worry, they'll still "capit(a)lize" Christmas when they want the masses to buy gifts for Dec. 25th. It's a matter of economic convenience and survival for many not only in Europe but right here as well.
Don't shoot me. Just a reminder to keep Christ in your heart and not under your tree. :o)

A new grammar rule devised by the European Union in Brussels stipulates the word "Christ" shall be spelled with a lowercase "c." If it wasn't so funny it would be sad.
With all the troubles and needs in the EU and the world, the European Union in Brussels (France's Mini-me) is actually paying folks to come up with idiocy like this.
You couldn't make stuff like this up.

the new guidelines also indicate the Dutch word for "Jews" (Joden) is to be spelled with a capital "J" when referring to nationality and with a lower-case "j" when referring to the religion.I thought this comment from the article interesting. So atheists understand what most of modern Christianity does not?

So, from now on, they're the eu. LOL... I agree, shall we also make it against "international law" to use a capitalized "EU" as well?

I was going to say it is a proper name and you have to capitalize those. This is also not the same as how they treat Jews. For that they would have to lowercase Christian. No word on how to write Muslim or Islam or Muhammed?

Apparently, the WND article has changed since you posted it. Now, it doesn't mention the EU:

The headline is still the same.
"Europeans lowercase 'Christ'
New grammar rule says word to be spelled with small 'c' in future"
I'll put worldnetdaily.com on my monger list.
