Not a loss....yet. Libbie is headed for emergency surgery tomorrow to realign the patella in her left knee. If successful the surgery will then be done on the other rear leg in about 6-8 weeks. The breeder has already offered to take her back, but too late, we're bonded to this CHILD and we'll fight on thru whatever God has in mind....and we'll do so in faith.

Prayers going up for your dear Libbie...may her surgery tomorrow be successful and may the power of the Holy Spirit be with you, your family and the surgeon.

Prayers and healing thoughts, for you and the baby.

LOL, as I recall your photos, it was a black baby, still it made me recall a white cat, of over 50 years ago, who broke a leg and had a cast on for Christmas weeks......

I have to laugh, kids were small and the Christmas tree was
exciting to all of us, laugh, I was young too then.

In every photo of the tree, there lies Boots in his cast.

He loved all that extra attention and had figured out that the route to the most kind words and loving, was to be the center of it all, under the Christmas tree...........

Will be thinking ou you.........

Hi! I addressed the loss issue to Crabbie and the other part of the post to you to please keep us apprised of the outcome of the veterinarian visit (which you did today). Will pray the surgery for Libbie goes well.

One of my cats ran off from the kitchen with a very very small medallion in her mouth. I had dropped it and she got to it before I possibly could. She ran into two different rooms before I could catch her and the medallion was missing by then. I've had no luck locating the medallion and fear she may have swallowed it. Thus far she is not showing any signs of a problem, but we are watching her closely - just in case. Never a dull moment with those little critters we love!
