The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Good question. I do find it hard to believe AL Quade can't hit an airplane with a rocket.

But they have failed in some attempts and came back for a second round. The World Trade Center twice. There were more terrorist on planes in Atlanta on 9-11. I don't believe we ever heard a word about them.

You know that is something to think about. On 9-11 we had 2 planes with terrorist that failed their mission and 1 or 2 planes in Atlanta with terrorist on them. Wonder what the whole mission was/is?

There was some kind of rocket fired at an Israel plane a while back...and don't forget the laser lights. World gone mad!

Yes, LAX would be a likely target, if the the plane crashed in many of the area's it would harm more people than just the people on the plane.

I would thnink that Denver is another target and of course other areas that I have not been to, so don't know what the surrounding area is like.

Much of the west, has hills around the airports, it would not be difficult to hide in the brush on them.

And all the coasts are within reach of a boat.

The key factor that we often forget, is that death to the terrorist is a welcome event, so chances are taken.

Christians confirm terrorists rebuilding network after quake in Pakistan.

Pakistan (MNN)--There have been reports that terrorists are causing trouble again in Pakistan's Kashmir region.

Evidence shows that supply lines of arms and ammunition are moving again. That, coupled with reports of infiltration in the region, shows that the quake only temporarily disrupted the extremist activity.

We spoke to an Interserve Partner working about the reports. Because of the security concerns, we'll call him 'Michael.'

He says the quake zone was a well-known recruiting ground. "There has been a lot of damage done to the infrastructure for these people. Whole villages have been swept away where these religious parties held sway."

The danger comes because it appears the activity could soon be back at pre-quake levels. Michael agrees, adding there is a new problem. "They are back there now seeking to regroup, retrain people, especially trying to get a hold of the orphans so that they can brainwash them."

As for the sharing their faith in Christ, Michael says, "Now is the time to show them the Christian way of handling things. Through our practice, through the way we conduct ourselves, through the way we meet with the people, talk to them, listen to their stories, this is a time of gaining a hearing--gaining the right to be heard later on."

Dawood is believed to own shopping malls, luxury homes, and shipping and trucking lines in Pakistan that smuggle arms into India and heroin into Europe, according to the US magazine.

Are these events related? What about the Columbus Day Weekend 2005 New York City Subway scare and credible threats from Al Queda from special intelligence? In Georgia one of the devices did explode injuring a custodian who found the devices inside a plastic trash bag. The bomb squad found and detonated the other two devices, thank god. These explosives were inside plastic bottles; luckily no one was killed.

It is a dangerous combination, and when you add in the gangs like MS-13, it is a disaster.
