Many years ago, I would get upset when the lib leaders spoke, because it angered me so much, but now, I get giddy and frequently laugh when dean and moore and kerry and reid and pelosi and others like them speak, because they're just like recruiting poster children for conservative values. Moderate fence sitting people see and hear them, and really listen and most of them over time finally end up going "Whoa, that's just wacko. THAT'S what democrats stand for??? Forget that. I'm out of here". And the democrat party gets weaker every time that happens. howard dean is a Godsend for conservative values in America. He proves that everything people like us say about liberalism is correct, and that they're nuts.

Roberts is angry, but in control of himself. He realizes it was a personal attack on him. They finished their work in May, but the dims didn't like the conclusions in the report so they have been stonewalling. THEY HAD ALREADY SET MEETINGS FOR NEXT WEEK.
You don't try to sand bag, Roberts. Unlike certain other Senators, Roberts always fights back.
I don't know, but Reid might just have finished counting the the votes against a filibuster and came up short. If so, he needs a diversion.

IIRC, he left the Republican Party a few years ago when he 'joined' the Reform Party, after his own private party failed.
OMG- Rockefeller is saying " this was productive because we've come to agreement and will get going in two weeks on this"... BUT..it was ALREADY scheduled!!!!
