Frist is on live, saying "the democrats have hijacked the senate". Man he's mad. Too bad he isn't a better leader...Reid wouldn't have even tried what Frist is calling "a stunt".

if we had Weldon in the senate, we'd see some action.
To: LisaFab
Frist calls this "an affront to me, an affront to the Senate, an affront to the United States of America."

That's the problem for the Dems. Fitz didn't do what they wanted.

Alito has knocked Plame off the front page - and they want it back. Sorry.
To: LisaFab
Ok, here is the reality. Nobody outside of Washington (other than us political junkies, and we are junkies) knows or cares about Scooter Libby. They don't care if he was indicted. Thus, this action by the dems will simply make them look like they are trying to re-debate the issues that were central to the 2004 campaign.
Ladies and gentlemen, the collapse has begun. Let them shut down the Senate (or try). In the end, they will lose.
To: Republican Wildcat
This is to artifically create a story for the nightly newscasts BINGO! The Alito stories were taking away from the Plame and the Dems can't stand it!

Well, well.
Wil the Senate Republicans FINALLY realize these people aren't their friends?
To: LisaFab
Schumer and Durbin are absolute embarassments and devoid of anything requiring a brain other than bashing Bush. They constantly show themselves to be better Democrats than they are Americans. They think their only job in the Senate is to obstruct Republicans but they offer nothing worth pursuring in exchange.
When is enough enough? When are people going to get sick of the same old faces doing the same old whining?
It only took a couple of years of full-time Daschle to make people sick of him. Are we in countdown mode yet for little Chuckie and Dickie Turban?

Frist is so angry he called up his nemesis, Trent Lott.

When are they going to get it that they don't own Congress? LOL...what a bunch of putzes.
The bluestate voters must be so freaking proud that nothing gets done and these weasels are getting huge paychecks to NOT do the business of the American people.

How about 9-11 style bi-partisan hearings? Have they called for that yet? How about continuing to appoint special prosecutors until they get the results they want.
