Reid was trying to convince us that a MARINE is too STUPID to know what the war is all about....

The troops should be told about how dumb the Democrats are accusing them of being !!!!

Change the rule. It smells like a backdoor filibuster to me. And the Democrats will make the whole thing go away if the President withdraws Alito, right? They will then claim one thing had nothing to do with the other. Yeah, right.

Tanking. LOL!

No I do not personally believe he is really 'tanking'; but they would have it so. . .much like the economy. . .perception is reality in politics; and these Dems are not intimidated - or moved, by the truth of anything.

That would have it that kool-aid is the number one drink in America. . .

The good news is circulation continues to be killed for MSM papers; particularly those that push the Demrats favorite drink.

...LEVIN... Adminsistration fabricated data and hid other data... that's why REID took floor and demanded investigation... (Senate is in closewd session)... presss questions: will this investigation help you figure-out what to do now about Iraq?... "that's a very good question"... we have a committment to the American people to give them "the truth" about Iraq..."why a closed session?"... because you can get to matters there that cannot be made public..."why are Dems said to be filibustering progress?"... there is no evidence of that...

... I DEMAND that senate go into closed session!... (SECONDED)... under Rule 21, Senate has to go into closed session...

Durbin was REAL fast to second that before it could be objected

This is all about defeating Alito. Why do you think they want to delay his confirmation until after the new year?

They are laying the groundwork for a public call for impeachment. They will base it all on the war started because the President lied to them and everyone else... and this time it's not about sex.

Next, even if they don't get impeachment hearings, they will say that no President who has the cloud of looming impeachment should be able to have life time appointments confirmed. Therefore, they need to filibuster for the good of the union....

MediaCrats have their agenda and they're sticking to it:

Top of the hour radio news:
"Democrats have called for a closed session of the Senate to investigate intelligence failures leading up to the Iraq war".

Oh. Sounds so reasonable when you put it that way. LOL!
(I hate MediaCrats!)

Wouldn't you know? Chris Matthews is on MSNBC claiming the administration mislead the MSM, blaming Rumsfeld, Rice, Libby. he says a lot of congress believes they were intimidated and manipulated into voting for the war.

The democrats are doing this is a clumsy manner, but they're frustrated, he says.

I say let the senators that want to do the job they were elected to do continue on with the business of the senate.Let the crybabies sit in the darkened room. While we're at it, how about docking those senators a days pay for every day that they block the work of the senate. Hit em in the pocketbook where it will hurt.
