Memogate?

What you think the dems finally "pulled the trigger"?

Could be.

So what are the Republicans going to do except whine and do toddler temper tantrums for the cameras?

What can they do? I called Reid's office and asked why he did this, and would you believe the young lady said, 'she didn't know...that she could think of a few reasons and she was sure I could too.' I told her I had no idea why he was doing this, but I considered it more obstructionism by him, and I would like to see the Democrats stop the obstructionism and begin doing the work of the Senate. I don't know when I have been so mad, and I want the Republicans to fight back and beat the living hell out of the Democrats.

"...Senate Intelligence investigation..."

Putting the oxymoron aside, they've already had an investigation, as I recall, and issued a report basically saying Joe Wilson is a lying sack of chit.

Time for the Republicans to use a phrase that accurately describes what the dems are up to, namely, coup d'etat. The Republicans should shout it from the roof tops that the dems don't like the results of the 2004 elections and are trying to nullify them.

Case in point, the current issue of why we went to war was central to the campaign of 2004. Yet, here they are trying to re-do the debate as if the voters mattered for squat.

Republican talking points:

1. Dems have contempt for the voters.
2. Coup d'etat.

BTW, this is another form of filibuster - the use of a tactic for purposes of delay

I'm thinking so

Because the Senate Intell Committee already investigated Wilson/Plame and even report a report on it

Is all of this also to play into the trials of one Saddam Hussein?

Liberals cannot see beyond their own power lust.

"This is the beginning of impeachment discussions on the party of the Democrats, imo."

Of course. Hillary has given her marching orders, and they are to use whatever radical politics will gain them. Now.

If we conservatives do not take the court and the hand we're given and secure whatever we can, we will lose. This is the game that is being played--to force us to lose. No one is talking about the fracturing of the Democratic party at the moment.

I'm thinking of emailing and calling and I'm going to tell him that my plan of going to Las Vegas at Thanksgiving is off. I may not be able to vote for him but I can punish the people who do.

Gosh Darn it, if they try to fly above it they'll NEVER get anything done. That's the trouble with the doggone Senate, they spend so much time curtseying they never get down to brass tacks. That danged institution needs to be reformed almost as badly as the Supreme COurt. The Court needs to forget about Roe and start thinking about overturning Marbury v. Madison, by the way.

Except their doing it in the wrong house... impeachment begins in the House of Rep not the US Senate

CSPAN 2 now!

What set Frist and the Pubs off is that usually the other side notifies the leader in advance.

2. When the Senate meets in closed session, any applicable provisions of rules XXIX and XXXI, including the confidentiality of information shall apply to any information and to the conduct of any debate transacted

Well, I hope the Dems don't disclose any information that goes on in the closed door sessions because then THEY will be in violation.

My Senator and a Good guy: if you send your info and have no true representative send it to Saxby. Use my zip 30041 if you send it from his website.

Thanks. My two hemorrhoids are Clinton and Schumer.....
