Harry Reid just made a motion, that was seconded, to send the Senate into closeed session.Schumer, Rockefeller and Durbin are before the press asking for a Senate Intelligence investigation into the Plame affair
So what are you saying then? That the only limitation on the power of the court is the goodness of the souls of the personalities on the court? That can't be right. The court must be checked and I tell you, it will not check itself.
There is Article II, removing jurisdiction. And Congress could decomission some of the Federal courts, especially the 9th jerk-it. But something must be done, and done soon.
Not to mention that piece of crap Slade Gorton going on any program that would have him on and let him LIE.
No, they won't choose to "get it" because it won't fit into their agenda of "Impeach Bush". All roads leading to introducing articles of impeachment, and at a minimum their plan is to do this immediately after they gain in the 2006 election. It is imperative that Pubs at least stay even in 2006, but I would like 60 seats in the Senate. Maybe Reid is helping us!?!?!?
Who was that dour-faced, French-speaking liberal prick that ran for president?
on the other hand, their childish antics could cost THEM dearly in the next election cycle. I hope they keep it up.
Lots of Star Wars fans here. Sweet. 8)
From the link:
This bill is a statement that America refuses to coexist with a regime which has used chemical weapons on its own citizens and on neighboring countries, which has invaded its neighbors twice without provocation, which has still not accounted for its atrocities committed in Kuwait, which has fired ballistic missiles into the cities of three of its neighbors, which is attempting to develop nuclear and biological weapons...
NOTE: Bold is mine.
You, me and a whole bunch of FReepers hope that this is true (documentation). I've never seen it, so for me it's just a hope. The 9/11 cOmmission said otherwise. The only Republican Sen or Rep who disputed the findings of the cOmmission was Wendell. Ain't heard anything from him in a while.
As to Salman Pac, everyone knows that it was for stewardess training. /s
I think the GOP is showing more strength than you give them credit for. They are learning quickly that the conservative base is STRONG and WANTS a fight with liberals, and if their base is strong, they can be strong. if the Senators know that thair base is strong and will back them in a fight, they'll start throwing punches. I sure wouldn't have expected to see the fight from the Senate that I did today, and those are not the actions of the typical weak Senate I have been used to.
Boy I like this guy more each time I see or hear him.
Fred Barnes must have read your post LOL he just about said the same thing on Brit's show just now.
Unless the Republicans show some spine starting now - people won't bother to show up!!
Why give them more power when they don't know how to use what they have?
The base is getting sick and tired of caving in for the cavers!! I know I am!
Is Ried up for re-election in '06 or '08? Please tell me '06.

No, they want Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld impeached and remove way before 2008.
Last two links don't work. I'll see if I can scare up the text elsewhere.
No way, I want to know why the Cia sent some slub on a mission without a non-disclosure agreement. AND why were they so interested in protecting SADDAMN
As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.
