Frist sounded rather weak on the Senate floor after the Senate reopened.

Frist IS WEAK. God help us if he's being blackmailed cause he'll sell us down the river too. Time for Bushie to take him to the woodshed and tell him to buck up and act like he's the majority leader (gag, change the rules if necessary and get back to doing the people's business.

But they're playing the fool thinking they can damage Cheney, or Bush, for that matter. They keep attacking Bush/Cheney as if they were going to run for office again.

They're still so caught up in their hatred that they are completely side-tracked from the real issues...they have no plan other than to attack Bush/Cheney, and where they think that will get them in 2008, I have no idea.

Harry better remember he had a stroke recently and this wacko stunt will not help him healthwise. Harry knew he was going to have to do stupid, idiotic things, and he accepted the Role of A$$ Clown for the "Rats", but that was before he had the stroke. Harry is being puppet-ed by Hillary, and "The Swimmer" and he must hate the feel of her witchy hand up his butt manipulating what he is doing. Hillary may have offered him a ride to Ft Marcy Park soon, and Teddy said he had his "oldsmobile" parked outside waiting.

A good portion of the public gets news from Rush, and Fox and Sean Hannity.

Thank God for that.

He wont stroke out, he was just acting. He probably had to pinch himself, just to look angry.

I overheard a couple of people talking about the Plame case the other day, and almost everything they said was garbled or flat out wrong. They couldn't even get Libby's name right, they called him Liddy.

20,000,000 though very admirable and large for a radio audience is less than 10% of the general public. Don't underestimate the impact....but don't overestimate it.

For the sake of our military, it's time to stop saying "screw em" and to start fighting back.
#####

What do you suggest we do to fight back? Serious question! I'd like a real idea.

Instead of being fed up with Republicans you might try writing letters to the MSM and some of our lowlife dem congresscreatures and sinators

I agree, or better yet contact the advertisers who advertise on msm biased channels.

And THAT is the most typical scenario. I encourage those of us at work to go to another cube of an unsuspecting employee and ask them if they've heard that Rove was arrested for lying about Iraq?

I would bet the majority would say, "Yeah, I think I heard that last week." or "Good, isn't he the guy who outing that CIA agent?"

go to any social event and start talking about the fact there is no amendment in the Constitution dictating the "right to privacy" and you'll have blank looks abound.

That's all well and good, but how many other outlets will ask that? They'd be forced to ask the question if a Senator was to drop that same question during televised remarks on the floor of the Senate or at a presser.

They just don't have to have a vein bulging out of their forehead while doing it...

Rush said last week that he was fried to the point of profanity over the Libby/Rove/Wilson/Plame thing. I...wonder...how...he...is...now...???

LOL.

"So what the hell was the point of the Dems shutting down the senate??"

"To get the cameras rolling in the halls, to play to their base and to make news."

That is exactly right. Little more needs to be said. Cindy fizzles, the special prosecutor doesn't "nail" Rove. Their tactics have not changed. I just want to know who their film director is.
