I overheard a couple of people talking about the Plame case the other day, and almost everything they said was garbled or flat out wrong. They couldn't even get Libby's name right, they called him Liddy.

And THAT is the most typical scenario. I encourage those of us at work to go to another cube of an unsuspecting employee and ask them if they've heard that Rove was arrested for lying about Iraq?

I would bet the majority would say, "Yeah, I think I heard that last week." or "Good, isn't he the guy who outing that CIA agent?"

go to any social event and start talking about the fact there is no amendment in the Constitution dictating the "right to privacy" and you'll have blank looks abound.
