You are not wrong.

That is why I don't understand why so many are angry. We should be laughing at those bastards. They have only one playbook, and it is a losing one.

They know that we know what they are doing, but they are doing it anyway, because they have no other plan.

I mean, all this posturing by democrats in the senate, and all they did was demand that the second phase in the "investigation" be done, when it's already on the books and has been for weeks. It's already being done. They're just p.o.'d because the results of the first phase weren't what they wanted, to they have to abuse the legislative process in the Senate to try and manipulate things. They're so desperate to impeach Bush, they're going to do whatever they can to try, even if it means annoying more and more Americans, costing them more seats in the Congress next November. I can't wait. 8)

Greetings atomicweeder:

Perception is a funny thing. We all know Hissy Matthews is a liberal cry-baby.

And Matthers will point to that nonsense and asset he is balanced.

Cheers,

I just want to know who their film director is.

I am guessing there is more than one.

Only Dems want to have hearings behind closed doors. Let them hold their breath until they turn blue. . .

They are doing the same thing as the terrorists, only without killing people - desperately trying to change America's mind about Iraq before the elections occur in December. Once the elections take place and the new government asks the U.S. to stay until the country is secure, the Democrats will have nothing to talk about anymore. They thought they had the magic bullet with the Fitzgerald investigations - they thought Fitz would produce a scathing report about a huge WH conspiracy to cover up their "lies" and the public would be repulsed and demand an immediate pullout of the troops. Didn't happen. Now they are desperate to try another way to prove that "Bush lied" before the Iraqi elections make the whole thing moot. Desperate people do desperate things.

AND, support for the war is seriously eroding. What does that do to our military?

It makes me furious that our Republican Senators will not stand up and remind the American public of the facts of life, all of which includes using the Democrat's OWN words against them.

When I see freepers (not you) saying we shouldn't get in the gutter with the left, I think "Strawman". No one is suggesting getting in the gutter. But a few well placed ads and/or major press conference would do a world of good.

Either our guys care about the military and support for the war or they don't. Letting that support erode away is unconscionable.

We should be laughing at those bastards.

Laughing or being pi$$ed off, or a good mixture of the two is what is needed, but no hysteria....leave that for the crazy dems.

Too funny, dems are punching the RINOs in the nose, I just watched Frist and Roberts, they are completely baffled. What a bunch of sissy boys. They have no idea on how to fight back.

The GOP clearly lacks the cajones to be a majority political party, unfortunately for us conservatives. We have nobody, President Bush included, in our corner.

:On November 16, Cohen made a widely reported appearance on ABC's This Week in which he placed a five-pound bag of sugar on the table and stated that that amount of anthrax "would destroy at least half the population" of Washington, D.C. Cohen explained how fast a person could die once exposed to anthrax. "One of the things we found with anthrax is that one breath and you are likely to face death within five days. One small particle of anthrax would produce death within five days." And he noted that Iraq "has had enormous amounts" of anthrax. Cohen also spoke on the extreme lethality of VX nerve agent: "One drop [of VX] from this particular thimble as such -- one single drop will kill you within a few minutes." And he reminded the world that Saddam may have enough VX to kill "millions, millions, if it were properly dispersed and through aerosol mechanisms."8

From my Public Case link.

That would make a bloody good ad.

I understand your frustration and mostly agree with you. I believe we do have to also recognize how the response from the WH or Pubs would be played in the media.

"Bush Tries to Defend War"

"Republicans Offer Shakey Explanations on Libby"

"Bush Losing the Hearts and Minds of America"

You know the drill. But with more and more people paying less and less attention to the lamestream media, perhaps the Pubs and WH will decide they should be more assertive. I'd find it relieving, personally.

The Republicans should be bombarded with letters and emails to remind them that this 'getting along' joke is how we got to where we need a nuke option.

Daschle decided on it and spineless Lott fell for it.

They should all be run out of town to go back home to whatever they have the brains to do for a job!!
