My name is Tom Leahy, I reside in Derby, Kansas and work in the Middle East. I am a Vietnam Veteran. I also am a member of the ALR 136 Riders and when I am home I have the privilege and honor to ride with this very fine and patriotic group of people. While I can't be there for the funeral and show physical support I am with you all in Heart and Soul and can assure you and Sgt Parker's family of my support and condolences. This man is a credit to his family and country. The WBC need to go on the outside and look in instead of the inside looking out to appreciate what our country stands for to appreicate how fortunate we are to live in the US and what our soldiers do for us to allow us the freedoms we have. After spending many years in the Middle East, "There is no place like home" and we need it protected it at all cost. The WBC should be thank full that they do have Freedom of Speech and can express an opinion, however do it with respect and intrigrity and in a proper and dignified manner. Try such protesting in Saudi Arabia, Yemen or Tienanmen Square in Beijing, China and see what happens My oldest son. (Sgt USAF) is on his way to Iraq next month and I am proud that he represents one of the finest fighting forces and country the world has ever know. My middle son is in the Marine Corp and younger lad in the Air Force. Two of my sons have already served in the Middle East and Bonsia Once again please pass on my support and condolences and God Bless America and her soldiers. Best Regards Tom Leahy Derby, KS (Street Addrees, phone, and email withheld to protect privacy) |
