Watching WH briefing John Roberts Just apoligized to McClellan by sayin "I'm sorry for my unfortunate choice of words this morning". McClellan just nodded in response.
CBSNEWS Chief White House correspondent John Roberts described the Presidents selection of Judge Samuel Alito as sloppy seconds during todays press gaggle with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.John Roberts: So, Scott, you said that -- or the President said, repeatedly, that Harriet Miers was the best person for the job. So does that mean that Alito is sloppy seconds, or what?
Scott McClellan: Not at all, John.
Sloppy seconds is described in the United Kingdoms A Dictionary of Slang as:
Noun: A subsequent indulgence in an activity by a second person involving an exchange of bodily fluids. This may involve the sharing of drink, or more often it applies to a sexual nature. E.g. Im not having sloppy seconds, I want to shag her first.
Very impressive graphic!! That says it all.
It has come to the attention of the Justice Department and Porter Goss at CIA that an element of the CIA tried to influence an election by sending its emmissary to the mainstream media to concoct a story indicating that White House Officials tried to expose a covert operator who works for the Agency. We believe this is worthy of the media exploring its accurracy.
Now this is not what was handed out, but why couldn't it be handed out.
Roberts was born in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in Mississauga, and worked for many years in Canadian media before joining CBS in 1995. He was the cohost with Pamela Wallin of (Click link for more info and facts about Canada AM) Canada AM in the early 1990s, and also worked as a reporter and anchor with Citytv and as a video jockey with MuchMusic. In his Canadian media career, he was known as J.D. Roberts.
That's a great rant. I enjoyed it!
That was McClellan's response??? He should've told Roberts to eat dirt and die.

John Roberts has not started of well in the beltway.
The level of ethics and decency in the media has dropped to levels experienced in....... media press rooms.
Recall when Slick Willie pulled the WH press credentials of one reporter who asked him a legitimate question?
Roberts should be moved to the far back of the WH press room - and never acknowleged again for any questions.
Let him die back there.
Call on the press from the smaller flyover papers and broadcasters.
Shut down phone access by media to the VP's and President's staff.
GW should cut his WH press appearances to that of Bill Clinton.
He should talk to the press when out on trips - but not to the major networks or print media.
Let them beg for scraps from the little guys.
This was no inadvertant slip of the tongue or lapse in judgement - this was deliberate and meant to demean President George W. Bush and all the White House and all of the Republicans.
Payback is rough John - ask Danny Boy.......
Anybody know what it's about
???????????????????????????????????????????????/
Roberts said Alito was "sloppy seconds"
I agree, move him back there with Helen, lol.
What the hell was this guy thinking? Can anyone have less class than this???
I know, totally disgusting.

A really dumb way to ask an okay question.
I had not heard that phrase before today. Now that I know what it means, I cannot believe that he had no "perjorative" intent.
By the way, he spelled it wrong. It is actually pejorative.
I filled out their stupid form thusly:
To: John Roberts, Senior White House SeeBS Scumbag:
You don't have the right to darken the door of the White House ever again, you low life scumbag.
No wonder you have to work at such loser network that none but the brain dead watch anymore.
Next time you go home, ask your mother if she knows/understands what you said. See if you dare explain it. See how PROUD she is?
NOW do you understand what you did?
Go back to Canada, if they'll have you. Stay there, use your "skills" to tear your own country down, not ours.
M. B****, another American who stays FAR away from anything SeeBS.
p.s. Apology NOT accepted
Excellent summary.
