So regular time after 2007 will be about 4 months and 8 months daylight time.
Why not just move the whole year to daylight savings and stop the ridiculous twice-yearly adjustments?

Why not just move the whole year to daylight savings and stop the ridiculous twice-yearly adjustments? If you did that, in the Northern parts of the country the sun wouldn't come up until 8:30-9:00am which would mean sending the kiddies to school in the dark
