I completely forgot and just happened to come across it.
For everyone else who forgot, this is the reminder.

What time is it in Indiana?
On October 30, 2005, at 02:00 DST, all areas currently operating on Daylight Saving Time adjusted clocks to 01:00. In the Eastern time zone, 77 Indiana counties were already operating at 01:00 EST and made no adjustment. However, five Indiana counties near Cincinnati, OH, and Louisville, KY, adjust from EDT to EST and five near Chicago, IL, adjust from CDT to CST.

If you go out clubbing tonight remember that as soon as it gets to be 2 AM, the time will change back to 1 AM. This means there is one addtional hour that the bars will be open and serving alcohol.

In August of this year, Congress passed a bill extending Daylight Savings. Starting in 2007
More legislative stupidity.
That will mess up every pre-programmed computer chip in every device currently 'timed' to adjust to daylight savings.

"In August of this year, Congress passed a bill extending Daylight Savings. Starting in 2007, it will be observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, extending the period about a month." Dumb stuff that Congress puts its nose into. Like McCain's Campaign finance. Why do we pay these people, much less elect them?
To: FairOpinion
So regular time after 2007 will be about 4 months and 8 months daylight time.
Why not just move the whole year to daylight savings and stop the ridiculous twice-yearly adjustments?

OK here's the plan- we stop the "spring forward" part of the equation and just keep "fall back". Every 24 years we go back a day. Eventually, it's 1960 and we tell Richard Nixon, "wear makeup on tv". Then, everything is cool historically. You with me?

All of our clocks and wrist watches are "atomic" clocks in the house. It's only the microwave and convection ovens that we have to fiddle with.
Personally, I would make DST a permanent setting.
