>>>You`ll make up for it in the spring. : )
Only if I have the misfortune of it being my turn to work the weekend... :)
just set them all correctly:
here:

you need java.
All the better to stay here on FR on pajama patrol. (:
yeayyyyyyyyy, an extra hour to tour FR..............
That's what I'm talking about. Standard time sucks.
Thanks for the reminder!!!!
Yes, because of my commute, I will not see the backyard now except on weekends. Only darkness in the AM and PM both. Depressing.
At least it's better than losing an hour.
The whole stupid "spring forward fall back" should be thrown in the dustbin. Everyone hates it.
Phaaa! An extra hour to FREEP!!!!
Sleep's for DUmmies!

On Novell servers, the start and stop day and times are just server variables, so it's no big deal. The use UTC for the time anyway, and the local time is just computed from the time zone and DST if needed.
On the other hand, does anyone know if this is just a registry setting change on Windows servers? How about with UNIX and Linux servers?

Changing times and laws ping.
I just checked DU and they have fallen back to 1973.
OK here's the plan- we stop the "spring forward" part of the equation and just keep "fall back". Every 24 years we go back a day. Eventually, it's 1960 and we tell Richard Nixon, "wear makeup on tv". Then, everything is cool historically. You with me?
I just wish we couldn't figure out how to stop the damn tilt of the earth. AND ANOTHER THING: I PRAY for global warming! It's FREEZING here in the NE!
You too, huh? I brought an extra large coffee to work with me. Thank goodness FR is here to keep us company.
Um, if you're early, you haven't "missed" it yet. You're just early. :-)
The earliest sunset in Pocatello is 4:55 PM. Latest is about 9:13 PM. It is the 8:01 AM MST sunrise in the first week of December that is somewhat depressing. Having to wait until 9:01 AM MDT would not be particularly good. I have an extra 2,000 ft of mountain just east of my house that actually delays the official airport sunrise time by almost half hour.
As we pass through the 80's do I have to get out my leisure suits and wide lapels again?
That's just what I did with the hour. I'm about to convert a 12:40 bedtime into an 11:40 bedtime and hit the rack.
