I'm horrified to think that children of incest are "common" enough for conditions they suffer to be identified.

As for this case - one just shakes the head. One really wonders when God is going to lose patience with us.

inbreed does funny things to DNA and chromosomes and the like...

look at the pedigree dog industry...

The inbreed families of Dalmatians to get the prefect spotting and coat collar and size for the dogs... the blood lines have been so inbreed it actually has affected the intelligence of the Animal.. that is why most Dalmatians are Dumb as a post.

I don't have any information about this particular condition, but any disorder described as "common to children of incest" is likely to be a recessive genetic condition
