The "Katrina debacle"? Does the press just follow each other by the nose? What debacle? In every other major disaster the press NEVER whines about FEMA knowing what their real job is (passing out stuff) and that you can't get into areas immediately due to conditions.

But all of a sudden they have New Orleans to use and portray Bush as a racists and incompetent while they conveniently ignore the efforts in Mississippi and Alabama. And if the Bush administration can't govern and FEMA is so horrible and unresponsive then why aren't we getting the same stories out of Florida?
