Just heard a blurb from John Gibson's alter ego. Megan? CIA happy about indictments, claiming they were being FORCED to make a case for War against Iraq.
Well the snakes are crawling out from under the rock.
(Excerpt) Read more at .www.foxnews.com ...
I was under the impression that this allegation was put to rest during hearings. Not one analyst from the CIA felt pressured by the White House. Dems had tried to claim that Cheney was intimidating CIA analysts to provide the info he was looking for. This was debunked during hearings.
Who was your source(s), Meghan Kendall?
BUMP!
bttt
They didn't get Karl Rove. Rove's revenge will be sweet.
Legal question for anyone:
If Libby is going to fight this, will Russert, Miller, & Cooper (and anyone else who may testify) have to stop talking at some point? Will Russert have to stop covering this on NBC & MTP?
I understand first amendment rights, not talking about shutting up the press, only the witnesses who are directly involved.
PJs on and ready to roll.
Sweet!
And why did Joe Wilson's initial report AGREE with the intelligence analysis at the CIA---uh, the one saying there was likely a connection between Iraq and Niger and nukes---and now "they" are claiming they were being "forced" to support the war?

Sorry for shouting but . . .
WHERE IS ROBERT NOVAK???
She was the most far left person on our faculty, a total Marxist. If the CIA has people like her, we are in deep trouble.
"If I wanted to describe the CIA's record in the last twelve years I can't think of a better word than "stupid". :-)"
Volume 2 of the Mitrokhin Archive (KGB documents) describes the CIA's performance as worse than useless. I believe them. I believe that CIA ineffectiveness is one of the problems we face today.
"It's been over a year from the release of the Senate Intel report, and it's forgotten"
Even dear old Chris Dodd is denying the content of the Senate Intelligence report. These people have their own little Orwellian world. If it didn't happen yesterday, they think we can't remember it.
I think Joe Wilson's New York Times article was a calculated ploy to embarrass the Bush Administration. And he may have expected it would help get him a job in the next Democratic Administration. He worked for the NSC when Clinton was President.
Bingo! Cherche Les Bucks! What about these, for starters:
Joe Wilson worked in 3 African countries(State Dept), out of 4, that mine(d) uranium- Gabon, So. Africa, and Niger, so someone check-out his "company" along with the CIA "fronts" for pay-offs from the French or Koffi et al; Wilson was a campaign "consultant" for that creepy-friend-of-the-French, John Kerry; Kerry's wife, the impolitic Terry Kerry, a) has known Koffi Annan since their college days at some Geneva "school for languages" and b)was or still is a "consultant" for the UN (see Who's Who, under Theresa Heinz or THK)- not that she's perhaps a witting helper, merely a conduit, merely generally witless; also, Joe Wilson worked in Germany (another friend/biz partner of Saddam's) and his 1st wife was some sort of Frenchy government worker, if that's not an oxymoron.
How come it's only the Dumbocrats that hire the modern-day Torquemadas? Did you hear that guy, Lawrence Wilkerson, complain recently, that the trouble is the Bushies just were refusing to let the bureaucrats run the country!?!? Yeah, that's the jist of what he said. Seriously!
Sniff out the rogues, I say. Follow the money.
That is explosive! Where did you get that info? I want to double-check it. Thanks.
Oh my gosh. I'm speechless
