COLUMBUS, Ohio - Lawyers representing the wife of Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, a Democrat running for governor in 2006, got a judge to delay her arraignment on a charge of drunken driving.
Frankie Coleman, 55, was scheduled to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Thursday morning. Judge Amy Salerno granted the attorneys' request for a two-week delay.
Salerno said the attorneys did not give a reason for the request and aren't required to provide an explanation.
Coleman's Cadillac hit a parked pickup last Thursday night in Bexley, a Columbus suburb, and she failed a field sobriety test, authorities said. A blood-alcohol test given to Coleman at the Bexley police station measured .271 - more than three times the legal limit of .08.

Hope she didn't tear up her Caddylack too badly.
Mayor Michael Coleman is a big time gun grabber.
Being a big-time NRA member, I know what that jerk is.
It is the never ending story of Democrat corruption.
