Yup, there are name-callers in here today, and mostly from the anti-Miers side. I'll grant you that. Of course, when the thread is populated 10-1 with anti-Miers people, there are just more opportunities for name-calling. Doesn't make it right, just makes it more likely. The Pro-Miers crowd aren't behaving like angels on here either. I've seen a few instances there as well. "Doofus" is a recent, albeit mild, example.
Look, my point is that no one is being denied their voice in here. They aren't being listened to, they are being disagreed with, but that's perfectly acceptable. The name-calling, as crass as it is, is unfortunately a part of internet life. There are millions of people who will say things online they'd never say to someone's face. It happens to you, to me, to everyone. To me it speaks more to that person than it does to me (although in full disclosure mode, I occasionally get caught up in it as well). That's not censorship, however, a point with which you agreed in your last reply.
Why do you suppose the number is 10-1? It's because the other side has been driven out and that is my point! It is a form of Censorship that will hurt in the end. The Conservatives who support the President have left and their opinions left with them. That's what is wrong with the Thought Nazis.
