She was a pretty young lady.
Yes, she sure was.
Adeyooye, who studied laboratory sciences and biology at ISU, was due to graduate from the 20,000-student college in December and planned to return to Chicago to complete her clinical training at a hospital.
Adeyooye's father, Adiodun, said he wants to see justice. "I believe Olamide's spirit will find the culprit. Whoever might have killed her, Olamide's spirit will find him out in Jesus' name," he said.
This is pathetic. I hope they find the person that did this and terminate his life when he tries to run.
I do too.
Hmmm. Someone trying to burn her body so she'd never be found?
Exactly and it's really disgusting.
(((MISSISSIPPI PING)))
An awful story. May her killers be brought to justice!
"We don't know if she was brought here or if she came," Newton County Sheriff Jackie Knight said. "This beautiful woman's life came to an end. It's horrible for her family and everyone involved."
Knight said it is unknown whether Adeyooye was killed before or after she arrived in Mississippi or how long her body had been in the chicken house. Knight also said Adeyooye, whose family lives in Berkeley, Ill., doesn't have relatives in Mississippi.
"We don't believe any locals are involved," said Lt. Raymond Delk of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation. "Nothing has turned up."
Adeyooye's father, Adiodun, said he believes his daughter's spirit will lead authorities to who killed her.
"Whoever might have killed her, Olamide's spirit will find him out in Jesus' name," he said.
...
Confirmation that the remains were Adeyooye shocked people in Lake.
"I don't know what to believe, so I try not to think about it," said Elanor MacDaniel, who lives across from where Adeyooye's body was found. "It makes me feel strange. I live on this road, so it's close to home."
Customers at H/W Auto Parts in Lake have been speculating about the killing, manager Mike Wooten said.
"People are asking a lot of questions," Wooten said. "But nobody knows anything. But why was she all the way down here? I don't understand how they'd find that spot."
Others say they didn't understand why Adeyooye was killed.
"We ain't used to that around here," resident Veronica Bratman said. "I thought it was crazy. My heart goes out to her family. She had her whole life ahead of her."
Does anyone else see an inherent contradiction in this grieving man's statement? Not to pick, but talk about mixing christian and non-christian concepts!
I thought it was pretty spiritual. He sounded like he was trying to find hope in God.
Bump for later read. I'm at work now. I used to work in downtown Normal about 2 blocks from Watterson Towers.
Yes, I read that article also.
That's pretty scary. She was at a video store there and was taken.
This is where I posted about her disappearance:

That's what it looks like so far? How does he know it isn't?
Yes, very sad. She had a very productive life ahead of her. Hope the demon that killed her dies a slow, painful death!
This is just conjecture on my part, but maybe they think it is racism.
Me too!
