??? Induced by previous abuse? Sad, but if she "wasn't quite right" why were people trusting her with their children? If nothing else, wouldn't they be concerned about how competent this young woman would be in an emergency? Or in following particular instructions? Or in dealing appropriately with frustrating situations (e.g. defiant children)? Not so weird these days. Some folks will leave their kids with just about anyone, and if she lived in the neighborhood and they knew her, who knows? (you could be unpleasantly surprised by what goes on next door. At least until the coroner shows up, or the meth lab explodes)

She probably enjoys a decent cigar now and again.

Just curious. Lately all of the female sexual predators have been better than the average female that needs a six pack of beer in the man to improve her looks.

Too bad she's female; given her history and proclivity she could become president.

She deserves custodial care, she is mentally retarded, emotionally severely traumatized and she is a sexual predator.

People these days will turn their kids over to ANYONE as long as they don't have to be responsible for them. Think of all the parents who willing allow their kids to be brainwashed on a daily basis.

Oh I concur. If parents knew she wasn't all there, then they must have been truly content to turn a blind eye. The predator behavior may have been well-hidden, but not her mental abilities (or lack thereof). Then again, "mentally retarded" here could simply be a euphemism for "degenerate sicko" - a thoughtless insult toward the mentally handicapped.

If the perp had been a 17-year old guy, the thread would be filled with hope he be locked away with criminal rapists who would wreak prison justice on him.
What a bunch of sexists we are.
