San Diego Support the Troops Rally 10-28-05

Some in our country are putting on their party hats and breaking out the Kool-Aid so they can celebrate the death of our brave soldiers. If this sort of joy disgusts you, then now is the time for you to join us in conjuction with the San Diego Protest Warriors in "Operation Thank You"

Who: Anyone who supports the military.

What: A demonstration of gratitude for our military and their families.

When: Friday, October 28th, 4:30 – 6pm.

Where: The North Gate of Miramar Marine Corps Air Station.

How: With American flags, and signs that simply read “Thank You.”

Why: To express our gratitude, boost morale, and counter the negative message of the defeatist demonstrators.

We will be at MCAS Miramar at the north gate instead of the Balboa Naval Hospital. A group tied in with Gold Star Families for Peace (cindyloon's group) is staging their own "party" at Mount Soledad (home of the infamous Cross that they want removed) Don't let our troops think these kind of people speak for all of us.

90% sure that I will be there. Why oh why do you have to do this during working hr. need to leave the OC about 2:30-3:00 to get there.

LOL, only an empty comment born from frustration of other things. I will be there only slight chance of conflict.

Is this the same location that you people spurred on by local talk radio had several thousand about 18 months ago?
