VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- Tonya Harding tussled in her home with a man she described as her boyfriend, prompting an emergency call by the figure skater-turned-boxer and an arrest of the man.
Christopher Nolan was charged with assault and pleaded not guilty Monday. He told deputies Harding threw him down and bit his finger when he said she had too much to drink on Sunday. The 27-year-old Nolan was ordered to stay away from Harding and to avoid alcohol.

> I live right here in the same town with her and so far, haven't run into her.
If you do, you'd better be careful :) I live two towns from Nancy Kerrigan, and so that makes me an expert on figure skating. Tonya came out from under a rock and reached to almost the pinnacle of her sport...and might have, if it hadn't been for her idiot husband. She still has a lot of grit, but unfortunatey, she had no one to show her a little class.
This used to be my startup screen...

I was thinking of posting a "wouldja" here, but after perusing the photos on her website. I noticed her site doesn't appear to have any recent photos. From the ones I've seen on this thread, their omission doesn't really surprise me.

"She still has a lot of grit, but unfortunately, she had no one to show her a little class."
Her story is sad. Proves that talent, which she was blessed with, isn't enough. It seems she never had a deportment lesson in her life. I don't know who was supposed to look after her when she was younger but they didn't do their job. I understand she was very poor in a sport where it helps to have some money, maybe even quite a bit of money. Her story could have been inspiring, unfortunately it turned tragic and ugly. She is still relatively young, I hope her life improves.

please Tonya; don't consider doing porn!Heck, a bit more hair on her back and she could be Ron Jeremy's body double.

it is sad, if it weren't for the kneecap crap, I think a lot of ppl would have really pulled for her "girl from wrong side of track make it good and make it big" story
coulda been a contender ...

That's better! As long as Nancy keeps her mouth shut, she's fine.
That other pic was really scary! Maybe I'll blow it up and put it in my window for a Halloween decoration!

That's right. In skating, you have to go through the ropes. And you will be allowed to succeed only when it has been decided that it is "your time."
