He is right about hearing an explosion from Choctaw in Norman it would have to have been major -- it has been pretty quiet around here tonight -- haven't even heard any planes flying around. I have a cold so I had trouble sleeping so got back up and didn't expect to find this reported. :)

Choctaw Explosion Remains a Mystery - ATF to Review Scene
CHOCTAW, Okla. -- Choctaw police have an explosive mystery on their hands Tuesday.
Authorities received several calls late Monday about a loud explosion near Indian Meridian Elementary and James Griffith Intermediate schools, near Southeast 15th Street and Indian Meridian Road.
However, when officers arrived, all they could see was a smoky haze. They searched a field but only found trash and debris -- no burn marks or charred ground.
For the moment, authorities only have what neighbors have reported to go on.
"Watching TV. Heard an explosion. Caught it out of the corner of my eye. Thought it was a shotgun, but it was too loud to be a shotgun," said witness Steve McCaffrey.
Other witnesses saw several vehicles leaving the scene just after the blast, but so far, there are still no leads.
Officers collected all the trash in that field for analysis.
According to police Chief William Carter, the ATF has been called in to review the scene. Carter said he doesn't feel like the schools were a target. They were checked and cleared before classes Tuesday.
