Well, at least it was not $16.96 billion. Juries are typically idiots when they come to these types of awards; or should I say "rewards"? Let's see - who was driving the car? Seems like it should be THEIR problem, not Ford's.

Damn "Warnings" take up about half the pages in a new car manual. But yet you have to hunt to find any info on how to due simple maintenance. Of course, nothing is simple about cars these days.

I was just on a jury selection this AM and was not selected to participate. Maybe it was my response to the question, what did you think about your last jury? (My response: A waste of time, the plaintiff was guilty of running a red light and causing the accident but still wanted 100K because her and her kid were injured, but not critically. There was no way we should have gone to court, it was a total waste of time and money). That was all it took for the two ambulance chasers to disqualify me.
