"I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the properties class, and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal. I don't regret being part of the communist tactic. I knew what I was doing. I was not an innocent liberal. I wanted what the communists wanted, and I traveled the United Front road to get it.

Roger Baldwin (a co-founder of the ACLU)

As if to prove that church-state objections can be found on the right as well, the band director at C.D. Hylton High School in Virginia pulled the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" after a conservative objected. He wondered why the school should be allowed to sing about the devil when they are not allowed to sing about God.

Well that's just dumb, and I'm speaking as a christian here. Primarily because in Charlie Daniel's song (who is a conservative Christian as well) the devil is the badguy. Whereas in this news article, the ACLU is the devil

ACLU has crossed the line for a long time, resorting to extortion and demented causes. ACLU goes into frenzy over anything that promotes voluntary prayer and good character. God is a dirty word to them. Yet they support the worst of obscenities.

The ACLU crosed the line a long time ago.

The only surprsiing thing is that none of their lawyers have yet sufferred any 'accidents'.

Why don't they just get over with it and make a suit against the use of the letter "t"?

If the helmet had the star of David, a crescent, or the hammer and sickle, instead of a cross, the ACLU wouldn't be suing.

"Next: the ACLU sues to ban deviled eggs from the school cafeteria."

Nope. "Devils" are on the approved religion list for the ACLU.

But watch out if the cafeteria serves angel food cake.

Moral Absolutes Ping.

The ACLU is one of the most evil and dangerous organizations active in the US. Even if Islamic terrorists and jihadis are soundly defeated, the enemy within will destroy us just as completely. In fact, if the ACLU and its ilk have their way, we don't even need any other enemies to be destroyed.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.
