A magnitude 6 earthquake rocked Pakistan on Sunday, 15 days after a 7.6 magnitude quake killed 53,000 people. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage.
The US Geological Survey said on its Web site the 6 magnitude quake struck at 1504 GMT, with an epicentre near the town of Mingaora, in North West Frontier Province. The quake was felt in various cities including the capital, Islamabad.
not good
Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the heartbed of Islamic terror in the Indian Subcontinent, is surely cursed.
Wouldn't now be a good time to saturate-bomb the area, since all their huts are surely destroyed? Just a thought...:-)
Oh, Lord! This has been a terrible year!
/just sayin'
I think whatever was due to break broke the first time.

Islamobad is GMT +5, so it had to be Sunday.
"There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage."
That's probably because there's nothing left TO damage. I couldn't believe the strength of some of the *aftershocks*. They're worse than a lot of initial earthquakes.
Yes, I figured the same. But, since the article doesn't provide both a date and a time in a specific time zone, and was posted roughly 11.5 hours after the event (assuming we've deciphered the date/time correctly,) there remains some doubt. Both time zone and am/pm errors are quite common.
For example, it is not unusual for even technical people to use "GMT" to mean "BST" (British Summer Time--which is what the British call their time zone when daylight saving time is in effect.) So, if "1504" actually means "3:04 am BST, Mon 24 Oct 2005" then the quake happened about an hour ago, instead of 12 hours ago.
alluh akbar
It could be Global Warming...(just kidding, just kidding)
Why? Bombing rubble is just a waste of munitions.
Nope. The next after shock will be a 5.0 that'll keep'em
busy at the end of next week. Why waste B-52 airframe,
engine time and 500 lbers when Ma Nature is doing it for free.
Maybe Allah is shaking her booty off down in Hades with Satan. She throws a great party over there. And the party hasn't stopped.
Two thumbs up and a "Allah Hu Akhbar"!
Let's get ready to rumble!!!!
FC
(if I offended you, I'm just kidding...no, really I am.)
This is a curse from Allah.....
Don't be stuck on stupid....Everyone knows Allah is a pig...
Maybe they need to give up Osama.
Earthquake ping.
