Illegal immigrants are criminals

The same principle applies to the subject that the audience really wanted to talk about above all others: illegal immigration. And it was during that discussion that reality went out the window.

It started when a woman who identified herself as a teacher asked what she was supposed to tell parents (who were illegal immigrants) about why their children (who were also here illegally) couldn't go to college or apply for financial aid, even after they had worked hard and earned good grades.

You see, typically, the pursuit of higher education requires a valid Social Security number, which illegal immigrants don't have. Some states also require that undocumented immigrant students pay exorbitantly high out-of-state tuition rates, even if they and their families have lived in that particular state and paid taxes for years.

My answer to the question shocked some in the mostly Latino audience: Tell the parents they made a terrible mistake when they came into the country illegally, and that they compounded that mistake every day that they stayed here without legal documentation.

Truth is illegal immigrants suddenly being given legal status is the only thing that's going to save the Demogue Party.

If that's so, then why are so many Republicans in favor of amnesty/guestworkers?

I find little difference in the "two" parties anymore, and that's why I won't vote for any of them anymore.

Wilt thous not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. Like you and me, aliens must obey the immigration laws. It is not cruel to require them to do so

I don't know how to break this to you guys. But the money that you feel is being stolen from you. Is not being "stolen" by illegal immigrants.

Somehow I highly doubt that if the government were to cut illegal immigration down to 5% of what it is currently. That your dutifully elected representatives would vote to give you all your tax dollars back.....

It's always amused me (but not in a funny way) that people who refuse to call illegal aliens what they are might want to call bank robbers "undocumented bank customers" or some such nonsense.

The misuse and whoredom of the word "immigrant" subtly confers a false sense of legality, to which not one illegal alien can claim. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS. They broke the law to come here, and continue to do so with each moment they remain.
