Dear XXXXXX,
Tired of sitting at your computer reading depressing news? Ready for some activism that gets you out into the real world and revives your spirit? So are we!
In the coming months, CODEPINK will join other peace-lovers in some amazing actions here at home and overseas. Well help close the School of the Americas, join military families in Round Two of the historic camp-out at Crawford, Texas, break the ban on travel to Cuba, and visit Venezuela for the World Social Forum.
So its a perfect time to stop reading the bad news and start making some good news.
- Help rebuild New Orleans, anytime
New Orleans is in need of support now as much as ever! Medea Benjamin has spent the last few days in and around New Orleans working with Common Ground Collective and other groups setting up clinics and cleaning up some of the poorest and hardest hit neighborhoods in the city (click here to read Medeas blogs). One very generous New Orleans resident (living elsewhere for now) has given us her house to fill with people who can come and help restore and revive New Orleans. Come down and spend as much time as you can with us and the people of Louisiana in their time of great need. And if youre available Thanksgiving week, Common Ground Collective is organizing caravans to come for the week. Click here to sign up to go to New Orleans or to help others get there.
- November 18-20, 2005, Ft. Benning, Georgia, Close the School of the Americas
Join CODEPINK and thousands of peaceful, faith-based people from all over the country to call for the closing of a military training school whose graduates from Latin America have used their skills to wage war against those working for social justice such as educators, union organizers, religious workers and student leaders. We guarantee a profound, transformative experience.
- November in Crawford, Texas, Spend Thanksgiving with Cindy Sheehan outside George Bushs Ranch
For those who made it to Crawford during the historic 26-day vigil in August, it was an experience of a lifetime. Now youll have another chance to join Cindy Sheehan and other military families and veterans as they once again camp on the doorstep of George Bushs ranch, demanding that he bring our troops home from Iraq.
- December 27-January 3, Cuba, Spend New Years in Havana and assert your right to travel
Join a group of fun-loving and freedom-loving Americans to break George Bushs ban on travel to Cuba. Join co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans, together with Academy Award winning producer Paul Haggis, as we visit with farmers at their co-ops, doctors at their family clinics, dancers at the National Folklore Group, and young people at the ballpark. Dont miss this historic chance to dance salsa, drink mojitos, and visit beautiful beaches -- all while defending our constitutional right to travel! For more information and an application please email dana@codepinkalert.org or visit the Friendship Delegation page at the CODEPINK website.
- January 23 - February 4, Venezuela, World Social Forum
A Global Exchange Reality Tour to Venezuela, co-sponsored by CODEPINK! At the World Social Forum, five years of uniting the world's peoples' movements, indigenous communities, women's movements, human rights organizations, environmentalists, intellectuals, students, activists, and citizens of the North and South have led to the beginning of true alternative economic structures which prove that Another World is not only possible, it is happening. This group will examine the realities of women, Afro-Venezuelans, indigenous communities, and how new political terrain is being created within Venezuela.
Remember, as you travel, help spread the word about CODEPINK's message of peace by wearing PINK, click here to get your pink gear!
We look forward to seeing you -- in person!
Dana, Emily, Farida, Gael, Jodie, Medea, Rae & Tiffany
P.S. With almost 2000 soldiers dead, we must be ready with our actions and candlelight vigils to show the country our true patriotism. Please email your action and vigil ideas to Tiffany at tiffany@codepinkalert.org.

In the coming months, CODEPINK will join other
peace mother-lovers ... in opposing anything American and supporting all the commies and assorted Marxists in the Americas.
Notice the PS ~ The Marxists at Code Pink are getting ready to celebrate the death of America's 2000th hero.
And the hypocritical bastards will do so under the slogan, "Support the Troops, Bring Them Home NOW!"

Communist scum. There is not Constitutional "right to travel",idiots. That's why you need a passport. Hopefully the State Department will revoke all of theirs when they return and prosecute them under the "trading with the enemy" act.

Any chance that we can convince Castro to keep them?
Just a thought.

I guess Cindy found out the press won't cover her as long as she's bothering Hillary.

When asked at Walter Reed what the women in pink think about the Iraq Constitution, the woman said, "I support it if it covers labor unions and gay marriage". This is their priority in life. Code Pink has it addenda and it is about themselves.

With almost 2000 soldiers dead, we must be ready with our actions...
This is the part that really makes me angry. These ghouls are acting like excited party-goers in Times Square on New Years Eve, counting down to the 2000th death. Because when 2000 servicemen and women have been killed in Iraq, Code Pink can get interviewed on TV!

Going to Cuba "with Academy Award winning producer Paul Haggis, as we visit with farmers at their co-ops, doctors at their family clinics, dancers at the National Folklore Group, and young people at the ballpark".... LOL.
Two of Cuba's greatest baseball players have defected from that 'socialist paradise' and will be playing in the World Series for the Chicago White Sox -- much to the chagrine of Fidel. Maybe Jodie Evans could go to the ballpark and watch them play?

"military training school whose graduates from Latin America have used their skills to wage war against those working for social justice such as educators, union organizers, religious workers and student leaders."
I guess they forgot about the "working for social justice' who kill women and children. Also unarmed farmers who wont or cant pay thier exorbinant 'war taxes'. Who increase the grinding poverty by not letting any development into the area. I guess the pink-o paper just doesn't see it that way. I must look weird with pink colored glasses on, trying to hid the red underneath!

So, in 3.5 years the military losses in Iraq equal about 550 per year? And there are 16,000+ people murdered in this country every year? It would take 29 more years of the rate of losses in the Iraq War to equal the number of civilians murdered in this country every year? Why doesn't code pink start a campaign to eradicate terrorist street gangs in our major cities?

Paul Haggis, author of the anti-God, satanic sludge, "Million Dollar Baby," and the equally putrid, "Crash."

Excellent interview by Mike Rosen of wacko leftist Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans from last Thursday October 20th on 850am KOA. This is the same Code Pink that has been demonstrating against our military men and women who are recovering from their war related injuries at Walter Reed Army medical center.
http://www.startcolorado.com/iac/KOA-AM/rosen-pinko.wma
(windows media player, 41 minutes+ running time)
This is Mike Rosen at his best and an excellent lesson on how to debate / talk to the wacko left when you encounter them.
This guest appearance by Jodie Evans is an eye-opener and an insight into the blame America hate America crowd that now dominate the democRATic party. Jodie Evans = Howard Dean = Ward Churchill = Cindy Sheehan = John Kerry = Hillary Clinton and so on. They are all linked together. A vote for one is a vote for all.
