DC FReepers - What's happening at 15th Street? (vanity)

My first vanity.
Just got a message from DC alert that 15 Street from Penn Ave to Constitution (for non-DC FReepers, this is the Treasury Bldg) is closed for "police activity". Just saw a bunch of fire trucks go that direction. Any one know what's going on?

The worst was the nut who drove his tractor onto the Mall to protest Tobacco subsidies or whatever. He single handedly shut down Constuitution Ave and 14th Street for almost a week.

I'm on 12th and really haven't seen anything either.
DC Alert is a pain. I get alerted for the 15th street closure, but no other info. Yesterday, they never sent anything for the bomb threat/suspicious package at Metro Center (which would have been quite helpful as that's where I am!). A couple of weeks ago they sent one that the Rayburn building had been evacuated for a bomb threat but everyone was returning. If it's over, do I care?

He* is certifiable.
I don't know what he's up to today, but he's apparently back at home on his farm here in NC.
