Melanie Morgan
Melanie Morgan, talk-radio host and the voice behind pro-troops organization Move America Forward, begins writing an exclusive column for WorldNetDaily tomorrow.
Morgan is the co-host of the "Lee Rodgers & Melanie Morgan Show" on KSFO 560 AM in San Francisco and chairwoman of the conservative nonprofit group Move America Forward.
As part of her leadership of the pro-troops organization, Morgan helped organize the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" campaign, which mobilized the largest counter effort to Cindy Sheehan, the vocal anti-Iraq war activist, in the nation. Morgan led a 20-city pro-troop bus tour from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., as part of the effort.
Besides her work as co-host of one of the top-rated drive-time radio shows in one of the largest radio markets in the nation, Morgan has appeared as a commentator on Fox News Channel, CNN, MSNBC, and is regularly featured on the major broadcast networks' news programs.
As WorldNetDaily reported, last month Morgan briefly lost her radio position over a contract dispute, but thanks to a flood of complaints from listeners to the ABC-owned station, the radio host soon was back on the air.
In 2003, Morgan began discussions with the chairman of the California Republican Party about launching a recall effort against then-Gov. Gray Davis. The recall effort was launched with Morgan teaming up with former Republican legislator Howard Kaloogian to lead this historic Recall Gray Davis Committee. Davis became the first statewide official in California ever to be recalled, and Morgan earned the title "Mother of the Recall."
Morgan also was vocal in opposing MTBE, a gas additive in California, supporting the impeachment of President Clinton and pushing for the confirmation of John Bolton as U.N. ambassador.
Morgan lives in Marin County in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she says she is surrounded by liberals, married to a liberal, has raised one conservative child and is working on grooming her second child into an "upstanding conservative." Her dog, Riley, and cat, Scooter, have thus far remained Decline to State politically.
Be sure to visit WorldNetDaily tomorrow to read Morgan's debut column.
Some of them barely written, others occasionally "ghosted." I know, I'm in the ghosting business )
How old is she, anyway? 40s? 50? In some pics she looks about 38 and in others she looks 50.
Though I wouldn't deny it if I were to be asked if your other guesses of 40's...near 50 were to be presented to me on a lie detector test.
Do you enjoy ghosting? Do you get much of a chance to understand what the "author" thinks, and what their "voice" is?
WND is kind of nutty at times....I hope this works out for her.
I think, in all honesty, many of the ghost-written books could be done by the primcipals if they wanted to put the time into it. It's more the time than the talent, although that is a part.
This is cool! I never thought I'd be chatting with Benny Hinn's ghostwriter :)
Sorry about the humor, in all seriousness, I appreciate your posts and your insight.
Let Ja-hee-zus heal you!
Well if she's your good friend, tell her from me .......she's a doll; not to mention a righteous Conservative stalwart.
I won't hit on her, though; also married 27+ years to a hottie myself. :) (who is also conservative...and 6'.....and blonde......and.........ok, I'll stop..)
OK I just sent her an email with your message pasted in. I'll agree with you about everything you said. Well, I haven't met your wife so I best not agree with you on that part, you might get mad at me LOL :)
Conservative women rock...
