Do you enjoy ghosting? Do you get much of a chance to understand what the "author" thinks, and what their "voice" is?

The ones I've ghosted I have known the principal VERY well, so much so that when asked to ghost something for his wife (this is a prominent "televangelist") I couldn't, because I didn't "hear" her voice in my head the way I could hear this fellow speak.

I think, in all honesty, many of the ghost-written books could be done by the primcipals if they wanted to put the time into it. It's more the time than the talent, although that is a part.
