Astros beat the Cardinals 5-1 in St. Louis tonight, to win the series 4 games to 2. Their first trip to the World Series in 9 playoff appearances.
World Series starts Saturday in Chicago.

......"hate whats happened to Houston"....."moving to Florida...." Whats happened to Houston is also happening to Florida. You're jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.I know folks think that, but I am moving to horse country, Marion County. Bought myself 6.5 acres in heaven out in the middle of nowhere-2 miles from any main roads. I'll be just fine. Also noticed not many mexicans or haitians there in Marion County! Too expensive of an area for them;)

We live around Baton Rouge, and when I was a kid, my family drove over to Houston to see an Astros game in the dome.
The main thing I remember is that I thought everybody was booing this guy coming out on the field, but they were saying "Cruuuuuuuuuuz"!

I love it. This match up is almost as good as a Cubs - Red Sox match up would have been before last year.
These guys definitely need to play a "retro" game so they can show off their snazzy uniforms.
