Far right & cynic, well, okay -- but the insulter still missed 3 of 5. Plus, "far right" is a traditionalist, and that is what the President promised for SCOTUS Justices. It should be a good thing, yes? And given that the support the WH has given the the nominee consists in part in insulting people who were WH supporters the day before, well, it stands to rreason a bit of cynicism would be generated.

The GOP and WH seem determined to sever the "far right" from the party. They aren't being subtle about it either. At least GWB has withheld making the insults personally - gotta admire his restraint, I bet he really wants to lash out.
